Casa Isabella

My wife and I were fortunate enough to find this place on a wonderful Spanish evening. While walking back to our hotel from El Retiro park we experienced this great neighborhood. The restaurant was on a small alley and had a few tables outside and some inside and upstairs. The design was very well done and comfortable.

We landed a spot outside and planned on having a few drinks. Several hours later we finished an amazing evening of wonderful food, creative drinks and helpful and friendly service.

Luis took care of us and made us feel very welcomed. As we ordered and asked questions he was super nice and offered up a few suggestions. I went with his white wine recommendation with my pasta and was grateful that I did. He brought out some after dinner wine and gave us a taste. My wife loved it but it was too sweet for my taste. I mentioned I liked Fernet and he immediately knew what to bring me!

We loved our trip to Spain and ending it at Casa Isabella was really a treat. For sure we are coming back to Spain soon and part of the reason is the great experiences and friendly people we met at places like this.

I ordered Truffles Pasta with Parmesan. The food was very tasty and came quickly. The staff was very friendly and the location is nice and cozy. I would definitely recommend it!

We loved everything about this place. We had reserved a place on the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed great service and food was amazing. We took the vitello tonato and tuna tartar as a starter and then the vongole and carbonara as a main but shared everything with a very nice bottle of wine. We are no dessert people so decided not to get anything but in the end we got the tiramisu on the house. Best tiramisu in the world.

Loved our food and wine here! Highly recommend the eggplant starter and the pancherri pasta, the pasta is very Al dente which I usually do not like but it was very delicious

I loved this restaurant! Oliver was attentive and friendly. The steak was bomb and the drinks were fantastic! Would definitely recommend. Loved the cheesecake as well.

Oliver was really professional and kind. Loved the overall experience at Casa Isabella. I would really recommend the truffle pasta and the tiramisu. I had an amazing time with my friends!

Gorgonzola croquettes was amazing! Pasta with burrata also one of the best in life 👌🏼 Ravioli could have more filling and it was little bit too aldente but its just a matter of taste. One of the best places we’ve been during our stay in Madrid

Had dinner with my girlfriends and it was so memorable! We sat downstairs, it felt homey and intimate. The Penne alla vodka was to die for as well as the cheesecake! Would come back again asap :)
