This place is really really a gem with all sorts of tapas n food items for any palate.. I am not big on seafood so I am careful about many places.. everything we ordered was tasty but my favorite were the eggplant chips …. Light n just delicately fried so u don’t get all that oil or a ton of batter. Vermouth was strong and not too sweet.

A restaurant will all the good Andalucian all timers tapas and a whole bunch of new twists to the traditional Mediterranean cosine.
Most of the staff speak English, French or German and they are superfriendly. Good selection on wine beers and none alcoholic drinks. Short waiting to be seated or have the food.
Best thing...fresh good quality food freshly done.
I have been told that they have a couple more restaurants around town, so check them out!

Lovely and varied food options. Had a small wait as it was busy (always is). Good service but confusing. One takes your order, another brings it, another brings your drinks, another takes your dishes away when you're done, and another takes your glasses away when empty. We wanted to order more drinks and weren't sure who to ask. Food was great, and the ambience was lovely.

Genuinely local place to eat. Pinchos and tapas galore. Lots of locals enjoying great food. Don't expect fine dining but do expect to find real Málaga food.

The way service is provided was the only drawback. I think it is a Spanish way in Tapas bars- you need to call them whenever you want to order , pay or just clarify something. In fairness , we were sitting at the br, so that didn't help. They were quick, efficient and the food is unbelivable.

After visiting Casa Lola, on the next occassion we decided to visit their other restaurant in Malaga, since here, though full, we only waited few minutes to get a table.
The food is more or less the same.
Though the atmosphere at Casa Lola is nicer.
Reccomand to everyone who doesn’t want to wait in line and yet taste delicious Casa Lola tapas.

Delicious food and very nice service. It's hard to get a table in the evening - you have to wait in line.

Came in before 7pm without any reservations, just a walk-in. No problem as there wasn’t a queue. Had the octopus with potatoes, it was good! Glass of wine from Malaga, some bread to go with the meal. Friendly staff, saw them try to cater to everyone’s seating preferences and meal changes which isn’t easy considering how full this restaurant gets. Thanks Casa Lola!

For seafood lovers, the seafood cocktail salad is the best, and also the iberian ham

We were looking for some tapas and saw this place queued out the door, so thought it must be good. Waited for a couple minutes and they squeezed us in on the bar. Food was excellent and very reasonable. Hoping to return again shortly.
Hats off to all the hard working staff they didn't stop and operated like clockwork.

wonderful restaurant for tapas! Their boquerones en vinegre are amazing. Can't wrong with any of the tapas here. And get the brownie dessert. It was amazing!

We ate here as a party of 5 and the food was all delicious, we loved the tacos and the boa buns - amazing variety for a restaurant that also serves top notch traditional Spanish food. Still can’t get over the value! €122.50 for five adults and we all left with full bellies.
This included eight glasses of wine, four bottles of beer and a vodka and coke, so you could definitely eat cheaper if you wanted to. We got lucky and queued for less than five minutes but some of the tables arriving after us were waiting roughly half an hour…. honestly i’d say it’s worth the wait. Not a bad place to stand in queue in such a gorgeous city but obviously may provide issues for those with accessibility difficulties.
Also be prepared to be passed in the queue by any locals that do arrive! Only fair I suppose as I’m sure they support the business all year round and not just during the tourist seasons!

Delicious food, well-presented, polite staff and cosy involvement.
Better book before the visit as it's extremely busy another way you have to wait for a vacant table.
Parking may be sketchy around.
It's another restaurant not far “from a walking distance “
Enjoy

Great food, head waiters are brilliant and other staffs need help with their customer service skills.

Really enjoyed our visit here - we walked past Casa Lola Granada a little earlier and there was a large queue but we only had to wait a short time at Strachan. The staff were really helpful getting us a table as we had a pushchair, all really friendly and the food/wine was great (we'd have stayed for longer and ordered more if the baby hadn't lost patience!)
Really reasonable in price too - highly recommended

A nice place. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Super nice staff. Not a bad value for money: I paid 9 euros for 2 beers, one pinchos and one tapas. Would definitely recommend.

I paid the wrong bill. Thought it strange that my lunch was $35. But I’m an American tourist, what do I know? The waitress caught the mistake and flagged me down as I was walking away. They refunded me and billed me the $7 I owed. I never would have caught the mistake.

That is integrity and kindness!!

Plus the food was great
