Very beautiful caves at Rincon Victoria just east of Malaga. €2.75 entry fee and you are free to explore the caves on your own. They are well lit and everything is clearly sign posted. Possibly one of the best cave visits I have been on. And to think that folk inhabited these caves 50,000 years ago.

I wish I could give a 10 stars for my review. We booked a guided tour through the Rincon de La Victoria and the Cueva del Tesoro and were awed by the sightings in both caves, especially the Victoria. Lots of Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic inscriptions and a very competent guide (Pedro) to explain everything. This is so worth it! We came here by bus from Malaga and climbed the Avenida Picasso for 15 minutes. Got to wear the helmet (supplied)and climb up and down the narrow galleries with ladders and ropes. A certain degree of fitness is required for sure but absolutely worth it.

Underrated cave!
It is a very nice cave near Malaga, with beautiful lakes and a good price.

Not very long but still can spend 20-45min.

The best caves in Malaga, super cheap entry fee of something like 4 euros PP, you will spend roughly 45 minutes in there and it’s decently cold which is good because it’s super hot in Malaga, the views were spectacular, I would recommend going, I didn’t need to wait or anything and it wasn’t majorly packed.

A very beautiful and impressive place. I haven't visited many caves before, but this one, with all these branching tunnels, underground water reservoirs and an abyss at the end of the main route, impressed me a lot.
The main route is well designed and facilitated, so it's possible to walk with children (of course, keeping an eye on them 🙂)

One of the only marine caves in the world that can be visited! It has multiple chambers with their own unique features. Fascinating history and structures, which you can kearn via an audio guide (multi-language available).

Tickets are free at the first slot of each day but make sure you book on their website beforehand as I made that mistake and ended up paying. Nonetheless ticket price is very affordable.

The small and beautiful cave is one of a kind due to its origins. Great visit for families with kids.

Fantastic cave system, mesmerising combinations of shapes and textures supported by multicoloured lights (in the lake cave you can find a spotlight with some moss growing next to it - lovely case of basic photosynthesis (water, light, CO2) even deep underground.

I was able to buy tickets at the entrance.

Caves are definitely not buggy/wheelchair friendly - there’s a lift that can get you down, but you can’t access anything else then landing area there.

Audio guide is based on the AudioGuiame app, can be downloaded in advance.

Causally paced visit will take around 1h, definitely worth a visit.

Unusual set of caves which are well presented. We thought it would be a quick run around but we spent around 3 hours in the end it was so interesting. Access is really easy with wide flat walkways most of the way round, even the ceilings weren't too low! Adults and kids enjoyed the visit. Even better admission was free! Not sure if it is every Monday or every holiday, but great. It did mean there was a bit of a queue, but only about 20-30 minutes

Visited this place on Saturday and didn't know that we had to book online. Nevertheless, we managed to purchase the admission tickets though we couldn't get the audio sets which was a pity. It's not a very big cave but the view inside, esp the formations and lakes are amazing and awesome! Was glad that there weren't many people and we could explore the cave at a leisurely pace with the opportunity to take many beautiful photos.

One of my favourite places to visit in the Malaga area.
Very interesting place and history. Quite easy access (also an elevator) and quite easy and not too long to walk around in the caves and to see the underground river. It is nice that you are allowed to go there in your own pace. The ticket costed less than 5 euros, certainly worth the price. I would not miss this opportunity.

Wonderful and cheap (I paid 4£)
Good value and an unexpected surprise. The caves are unusual in that they were formed by the action of the sea millions of years ago when the sea level was much higher. Well worth a visit for all ages.

This was good fun. We booked a tour for the cave next to it and were therefore equipped with helmets and lights etc. The guide took us to the part of the cave the public are not usually allowed to visit to see the wall paintings, hand prints from 32000 years ago and the painting of a deer from 25000 years ago. We then went on to the Cueva del Victoria, again through a locked gate. We saw the archaeology and heard about palaeolithic life. It was very enjoyable.
The visit lasted about 45 or 50 minutes. We climbed ladders and needed full mobility to get around.

Whether you have a love for geology, Caving, History, Spelunking or just having a great morning or afternoon out, then this is the place for you. You could even use this place as a sanctuary in very hot weather, one of the things for which this area is famous, as the even underground temperature makes one feel very comfortable.
I will admit that I need to revisit as I had young grandkids with me on this visit. They loved it, but they were interested in things that weren't particularly compelling to me. As a pensioner with a Son in law and two kids under 7 in tow, the cost was just below 20 Euros and well worth every cent.
As I say, I will re visit in the future when I've had a chance to return and really spend time getting to grips with all aspects of ancient underground formations.
The only thing I thought needed more development was the Visitors Souvenirs Shop offerings... If one could call it a shop. I don't think I'm being unfair here, see what you think. I think a well run shop could bring in plenty of revenue for this very unique (yes, I mean unique) venue.

Lovey lighted cave system. Lower level accessible by elevator or stairs. Comfortable walk through the caves. Great for people who wouldn't normally go caving.

Such a great historical site to visit. Learnt a lot about its history and took some cool pics. Also, provides a great student discount on tickets!
100% a must see when visiting Spain.

Great cave system and then it's for free 😁
If you're a little bit interested in Geology and History, you can easily spend a couple of hours in the grottoes - in very comfortable temperature.
