Great, no nonsense fish restaurant. Excellent value, service etc. Must try the zamburiñas (baby scallops).

Tip: arrive early. Opens 7.30.

A truely authentic joint for the local…a bunch of local were having after drinks. The food is great, all local catch, prepared in non-pretentiously. Love it; with a port view in the front terrace sittings

Amazing place! We got lunch here because of great reviewes- and they were all right :) zamburinas and garlic prawns for starters were a must for us and they were delicious! Fried squid and octopus also! Not to forget friendly staff, port view and perfect tiramisu for my sweet tooth :) definitely the place to go!

After a really long day on the Camino we stopped here for dinner. The portions were delicious - Padron peppers, grilled octopus, mussels in vinegar though be warned they are really big. I recommend only getting 2 of the Tapas. Service was quick and even if we arrived at 21:00 they were open and served full menu. Highly recommended.

excellent local food. Choose small plates "tapas" instead of main course plates. You will love the quality. Worth waiting for a table.

Very local place…recommended by two fishermen I chatted with. Pulpo was best I ever had. Waiter was funny, fast and friendly. Locals were loud and fun. Food was great, inexpensive and plentiful.

Pure fish experience.
I don't want to attract too many people here, as I don't want it to be spoiled. I was luckily here with my Spanish friend.

Loved the dishes. Everything is authentic fisherman's eatery here.

I was lucky enough to have swordfish. It was cooked to perfection and I cannot fault it.

A real photo history on the walls makes it visually interesting too.

A really good meal. Service excellent too. And reasonably priced. No wonder people were waiting for a table!

It is a small unassuming family run restaurant on the A Guarda seafront. It had good reviews but it was phenomenal. The food was spectacular. my friend and I shared a plate of grilled squid, grilled to perfection in garlic, olive oil. My friend had a skewer with monkfish and shrimp that was melt in your mouth. It came with a salad and roasted potatoes. I had fried steak (like chicken fried steak) that was moist and tender. Sides were Padron peppers (not spicy at all) and fries. For dessert we shared Canitas (like crunchy churros filled with a custard). Delicious!

After arriving in Spain from the Portuguese way, we filled up on tapas and wine. Full of locals and wonderful view of the harbour. Fantastic recommendation from our Albergue.

Very good food and fair prices. The waiter even told us not to order to mains as it would be enough to share one, as we already had two starters. He was absolutely right as the mains are huge.

This restaurant is just near the port in a really nice area. At the time beeng there the restaurant wss full of local guests. It was quite noisy. The food quality was good enough for the price. The staff was helpful to choose from the menu.
