Senator Mar Menor Hotel

I was a bit apprehensive when I seen a few reviews but honestly had the total opposite experience.
Everyone was so lovely, our room was spotless and so spacious and the bar and amenities were great. My only Feedback would be that a small shop onsite or closer would be a great feature as it was a decent 20/30 minutes walk to a supermarket but it was so reasonable to buy drinks and food onsite the hotels I was more than happy. Taxis were also very inexpensive 6.50-10 Euro
I would definitely return, so lovely and staff were so nice and friendly .

Room very clean and very nice, only 2 beds in room but booking said sleeps 3. It was a little difficult to get the staff to agree to getting an extra bed in the room but once the very friendly manager was involved it was sorted quickly.
Pool area very good, always got loungers despite it being very busy, slides where great and water aerobics was good fun.
Good variety of food at buffet style all inclusive, plenty for kids and staff very friendly and helpful with my partner who is coeliac (gluten free) and she was able to eat well.
Hotel is a little remote in a golf resort but we had researched and rented a car for a very low price before travelling. Easy access to nice town and beaches etc. Over all a very nice break

We spent a week here on Holiday from our home in Fuengirola. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and honestly cannot fault the apartment or resort. Only fault is, it is a long way from town and the surrounding area is sadly lacking in basic facilities (supermarkets, etc). Although this cannot be blamed on the Resort. The local taxis are very good and not overly expensive. We will definatly be returning sooner rather than later. Well done Senator under what are very difficult times following the"Pandemic".

Very nice room, comfortable bed and very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be returning again.

A review from my three children:
We liked it a lot, I love the swimming pool and the ice creams at the bar. I like the music playing and the fact there are 4 pools and fast slides.
The lights at night time were great and the view from the balcony was nice.
I didn't like buffet but mum and dad did.
I like the hotel room because it was homey and big.
We would like to go back

Was a bit sceptical after reading some reviews on here but dont be put off, we loved the resort. The rooms are cleaned every day to a high standard,. The pool area is very nice and clean also. We stayed on the self catering apartments and we had no issue with the road noise. Although we did with a very noisy next door neighbour, which we were moved by the staff to a different room. The location is remote and i do recommend a car of staying here but otherwise very happy

Rooms really big and comfy. Nice balconies too. Everything one needs to be comfy. They allow pets too. My Frenchie had a heat stroke before coming into Murcia from Barcelona. She was happy with the air con. They had a washing machine too so I could do laundry collected on our road trip. ... only thing is couldn't find a drying rack even though the room has a little card requesting to use it.

Accommodation is very spacious, clean and tidy. Pool was excellent, open 1000-2000 every day. No on site shop, but 24hr snacks at reception. Would highly recommend apartments. Very reasonably priced too.

Stayed there for one night on 2 occasions when my wife and I played in the Celts Xmas hamper competition at La Serena golf course opposite. Lovely place. Unfortunately it is closed this December 11th when we are playing again in the same competition. Great pity, not sure what we will do now!

Beautiful suite with terraces on both sides with massive bedrooms large hallway and very spacious bathroom. Nice location but very quiet probably due to the after Xmas and New year lull.

Lovely rooms, clean and spacious.
Stayed here for three nights. Bar meal was disappointing as it was on the cold side had to send it back.

What a great time we had. The staff could not have been better, The room was great we would highly recommend but you need a car if staying for a week.
