Really good chain of "cervecerías" (pubs) in Madrid. The best part about these pubs are the super low prices for the drinks and food (and that's probably what makes them so popular). Pub offers wide variety of tapas and drinks.
Note that terrace is with no table service. This place can be really crowded during later / night hours.

Great service and cheap great quality drinks. It has a cool atmosphere and food from €1, quality and quantity. You write on a paper what you want and they call out your name to collect your food. 100s of dishes and love to come here and you will too!

This place has a huge variety of small sandwiches and snacks as well as beer. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. Outdoors can be really busy and difficult to find seating. Prices are really reasonable. The food is freshly prepared it seems and comes quickly.

Best deal on a nice plaza. You have to purchase inside at the counter but then get to enjoy the lovely Plaza Santa Barbara.
