La Caña

What a little gem, white linen and polished glasses in a sea of mediocre burger joints. Friendly staff with nice food. The Black Rice is of particularly note, packed with flavour and unusual enough to make it a bit of an event in itself. We dinned early so not many others to create a buzz, but that was our choice and not a reflection on the venue. I can imagine it get packed with food like this.

I truly recommend La Caña for their menu del dia that they have during weekdays till 16h. It includes entry, main dish, dessert and beverage (also wine or beer) for 12.50€. The food was very good, great portions for very affordable price. We also added few portions from the regular menu. We ended with a bill of 95€ for 5 people and we were really happy with our experience in this place!

The best service I ever had in a restaurant, even better than Michelin quality!
The staff is so attentive, they immediately take away finished dishes, brought us in seconds a new fork when we dropped one down..
Except this, the decor is fancy, the dishes are creative, tasty and big portions, and with very good prices!

We stayed in Madrid for 4 days and our hotel was just 20min away from this amazing restaurant.
Shame we recover the restaurant on the last day.
After our disappointment of overcharges and not very testy food we finally discovered this place.
Portions are huge and so testy.
Definitely recommending this place.

The best staff I've ever seen, very kind, helpful and outgoing. The food is fresh, good quality and very tasty, and the prices are very reasonable, not expensive at all. Recommended for families, couples, friends, really anyone. Very cozy, great atmosphere.

Visiting Madrid for the first time, and La Caña is one of my favorite restaurants. First off, the service is impeccable. My gf and I arrived at around 8:30pm, lots of tables open, we were seated immediately by a very nice gentlemen. We started off with a jar of sangria....delicious. Then we went all in and ordered a salad, patatas con huevo, and the salmon. All the food was delicious. By 9-915 the place was packed full. The servers are all so attentive. A table isn't assigned just one person, everyone helps out. It was terrific. To finish off, my girl and I shared the brownie/macaroon and ice cream desert, which was amazing. La Caña is very reasonably priced as well, great bang for the buck. Terrific experience. Muchas gracias!

Nice place, great food and really friendly staff. I stayed in Madrid for 10 nights and I ate there 5 times. Every dish I tried was delicious.

Good and inexpensive restaurant. There are similar resturants in Chueca but not that many in this area of Madrid.
