We got the menu with 4 tapas, one paella of our choice and a dessert. everything was perfect except the paella that had a little bit more salt for our taste. Apart from that the tapas were excellent and the desserts were exceptional. Tha waiters very polite and helpful.

We had an amazing time in this restaurant. John at the main tapas bar did an incredible job, his recommendations were great and in our short stay in Madrid went three times because the food is outstanding. Highly recommend the octopus and pork cheeks!!!

We came here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar is very nice and once you go through to the restaurant upstairs this is also the case. It was a great help too that an English menu was available by scanning a QR code on the table. The amazing food was all fine dining quality and every dish was absolutely delicious, especially the king prawn carpaccio. The staff were great too. They were extremely efficient and very helpful to a couple of non Spanish speakers. The only small negative was that we felt a little rushed. Mains arrived while we were half way through starters and plates were taken off the table the very second we finished them.

Overall we had a great time and Mercado de la Reina offers high quality food for very reasonable prices. I strongly recommend them and will definitely be coming back myself.

Excellent food and very friendly staff. The croquettes were amazing and we absolutely loved the queso majorero of Fuerteventura fundido a la plancha con pimiento caramelizado. The waiter was really nice to suggest us to eat it while still hot as he saw we started eating other dishes first. Prices are definitely in line with the quality and the portions are big. Definitely recommended!

Most of the dishes were amazing and our favorites were: Red Prawn Carpaccio, Grilled Artichoke with potato cream, Calamari, Cheesecake, Lava Cake.

El Mercado de La Reina is one of the best places in Gran Via to go with your family, couple or group of friends. The menu is original and has a number of dishes or uniques tapas that cannot be found anywhere else. It is the third time that I go and I will repeat again for sure. Black pudding from Burgos is a star dish that should be tried at least once. It is exquisite! The price is standard and the service is 5 star.

Great place for quick tapas. Delicious and moderately priced. One of the best tintos de verano around.

Very cosy and busy restaurant in one of the central streets od Madrid - Gran Via!
You will wait just about 10 minutes for a meal, even the restaurant is full of people.
Meat (steak) is delicious, prices are correct - you are in central Madrid.
Burger is also good, tasty...
Sangria con cava comes in a big glass and it is delicious, also!

Excellent food, swift, efficient, attentive service. Literally everything we got we would order again and highly recommend: prawn carpaccio, grilled artichoke with potato cream, chilled tomato soup, octopus with oil and vinegar, aperol spritz, sangria, cheesecake and flan.

really enjoyed the food! especially the prawn carpaccio and the grilled octopus. we made reservations on the fork so we had a 20% discount, so it was even more worth it.

Probably the best - and strongest - sangria I have ever had.- and less than €5.
And the appetizers are excellent as well.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. We picked this place initially based on the design of the restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The service was really nice and the food was coming out quickly. It is a bit pricey but it definitely makes a great place for a date night.

Good place to grab some drinks with tapas, alcochofas are incredible!!

We had tapas at lunchtime. Food was delicious and the service was great. Staff spoke English and the menu is translated to English. The sangria was wonderful!
