Food was delicious, one of the best pork dishes (pluma) I have had. The squid had a lot of garlic so I suggest only ordering IF you like garlic. Service was attentive and professional.
We ate at the restaurant, good for pairs to groups. Best to reserve in advance.

Fantastic! Our best meal, out of many, in Spain. We ate upstairs in the restaurant and the service and food were flawless. Everything was beautifully plated and delicious. The Ensalada Rinconcillo, 1/2 order, pictured was perfection. Duck breast with orange also delicious. Prices were quite reasonable too! You won’t be disappointed!

Had a great food experience at this historic restaurant. Food was amazing and had one of the best glass of beer ever.
We arrived in Seville the same day and decided to try this place. So, no reservations! But, lucky enough, they had an empty spot to fit us in.
But, I would definitely recommend to book well in advance.

Visiting Seville and got away from our regular tour group to get amazing food. Husband found this famous historic restaurant and waited for over an hour to open. Coming from the US, eating dinner at 8:30pm counts almost like a midnight snack! But having dinner at this restaurant was well worth the wait. We sat upstairs and enjoyed our meal quietly.

Enjoy authentic tapas in a uniquely historical restaurant. A sensory feast for the eyes and the taste buds! Busy, busy place at lunchtime. Options to eat at the bar or at a restaurant table. Great value, the pork cheeks, jamon and sheep cheese are amazing. Definitely going back.

Recommended to reserve online at least 1-2 weeks in advance as this is a really popular place and the queue starts even before the restaurant opens. We took chances and ordered off-menu, special of the day dishes like the duck steak and baked white fish and both were delicious, fresh and of great quality. You can also order the local wine Vino de Naranja (orange wine) here, it’s yummy too. Atmosphere of the restaurant was homey and the service staff are good and attentive, switching out dirty plates regularly.

Loved it! We went one day for lunch and one day for dinner. For dinner we had to queue outside before they open as it was fully booked. We had dinner standing but it was part of the experience, food is just delicious and prices are really good.

The food was incredible, the atmosphere was buzzing and the restaurants aesthetic was exactly how you imagine a 353 year of tapas bar to be, so much history in every nook and cranny! Loved it!!
All washed down with the most delicious 2.0 year old sweet sherry that was like sugary nectar. Heaven!

By far the best tapas I had in Spain. Everything was just cooked SO well. Ordered a variety of tapas and they were all perfectly done and delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Even though there always is a line, you never feel like they want you to be fast.

Well I need not say much, except to go and try the tapas, standing at a barrel table, which can try more of the deliciousness in small plates. Though after a long day in the city, we opted for a table service, large plates and wine. We had a lot more than the photos attached, but too enjoyable to remember to more take photos😅

I'm glad we visited. Yes it's a "tourist attraction" given how old the bar is, but don't let that put you off. The food is good, the interior aesthetic feels true, and the service is with a smile. I LOVED the pork cheek stew and spinach with chickpea tapas.

El Rinconcillo is the oldest bar in Spain (according to our AirBnB host), founded in 1670.

We had a light tapas lunch there of cheese, meat, and gazpacho, and all three dishes were excellent.

A bit touristy yes, but for good reason. Also service can be hit or miss if you can't speak any Spanish, but here's the thing, you're in Spain, learn how to at least order in Spanish. Quality of food isn't top notch, but the ambience of the place is great!

We had dinner here last night. It’s a historic building and the ambience is great. The tapas bar on the street level was totally packed. Will try it next time. Dining rooms upstairs was elegant. Had the sea bass with mussels and shrimp on a tomato onion gravy base. Was very nice. My wife had the steak tenderloin and she loved it too. Their medium is a bit on the medium-rare side. I’ve had more croquettes here in Sevilla than anywhere else but they never disappointed.

Really good (authentic) food at this local institution founded in 1670. Make a reservation to get a table where you can sit down. Super busy for a good reason and excellent customer service

Wonderful first experience of Sevilla in this hopping 17th century tavern. Even at midnight this place was still packed with locals.

We just asked the waiter to recommend a few items. The waiters all have that twinkle in their eye from doing this for many years. It was a fun surprise and everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend coming here!
