Restaurant La Casa de Fusta - l'Estany

We stayed with our RV overnight on park managed by the restaurant. The place is perfectly located right in the middle of the nature reserve- fantastic base to cycle around and see some flamingos.

We had lunch and chose a Delta menu (27,5€) which includes seafood starters, main dish (we chose seafood paella), a dessert, a bottle of wine, water, coffee. Everything was delicious, needless to say paella was fantastic.

Locals do come here on purpose to have lunch on weekends, so booking ahead might be a good idea. We were really lucky to get a table, as the restaurant was completely packed.

We had lunch here with our two young boys who are two & four years old and it was perfect. They were very kind and accommodating and the food was delicious.

We tried the duck rice, garlic prawns, eel toast and homemade cheesecake. Also there is an area behind the restaurant where you can rent family bicycles and a small park. We will definitely return.

Spending the day driving through the Delta would not be complete without having a bite at La Casa de Fusta. Suggest a 4:00 reservation to enjoy the Sunset driving through the rice fields. All the dishes were fantastic, house wine as well. 🥘❤

If management reads this... please keep your opening hours up to date on Google maps. You lost a lot of business the night we were there. Google said you closed at 22:00, whereas you actually closed at 20:00.

Extremely popular with people from far and wide. Booking is essential at weekends. Service excellent and food good value for money. Please can we enjoy views out of the window, though?? They're blocked by unfortunately translucent glass.

The mixed paella is fantastic. Most likely different from other types of rice you've tasted before due to the nature of the location. The place is also very calm with excellent service.

Excellent food and service. We had the Delta menu which was a selection of local dishes, some of which we'd never eaten before but everything was lovely. We selected the seafood paella for our main course and wasn't disappointed. The food coming out for the other diners looked beautiful too. Well worth a visit.

The food was amazing and the service 6/5 stars. They are also very thoughtful towards dog owners. We really had a very good time eating there :)

Delicious food, greate service (well trained dogs are also allowed inside the restaurant!!) Located perfectly in the delta with good parking service (even for Caravan) must visit. There is a tiny bird enclosure behind the restaurant (peacocks are there!!). It's tiny bit expensive but totally worth it.

Lovely restaurant with large choice of local dishes. Open 1300-1800 Mon - Thur and until late in the evening at weekends. Great food, friendly staff (dog friendly too) and about €10 - €15 per course. Food is excellent.
