A very unique experience. The guide speaks in Spanish but he does ask if anyone needs information in English. It was a good experience to see something which is preserved well. Book your tickets in advance we booked ours 2 weeks prior. A must visit if you are in Madrid.

It gives a brief but exact idea how the metro was back in the day. Really nice.

Very interesting museum of one of Madrid's original subway stations. It was a bit of a surprise that trains still come through here, but the station itself is fantastic at showing the history of Madrid's subway network

Old style metro station made into a museum. Even though I was there almost alone I recieved simple historic information about the place in English. It would be awesome if the info texts were in English too. The visit could take you easily just 10 minutes. They have video playing about history of the station, but only in Spanish.

Very interesting. Great tour provided for free and the tour guide was knowledgeable. Should provide time for questions but was pretty thorough so probably not necessary.

If you're looking for a different museum, then Andén 0 a great place to start! This is one of the first metro stations in Madrid, and with the current metro line going right by.

It's not the biggest museum, but you have everything related within. Free entry

Amazing! Loved this (free) tour. We didn’t manage to reserve tickets online, but we were first in line at 3.40 for the 4pm tour and got in no problems. Highly recommend if you are in Madrid. We were the only non Spanish speakers from the group of 25 but it didn’t matter and our guide made sure to explain to us what she had said.

Very interesting place to visit, not only if you are interested in the subway. And it's free of charge.

This free tour was cool! Find out some history of the whole metro system and some specifics about this station that was open during the Franco years. Learn about the "ghosts" that haunted it. Fun!!

The line is always really long but it’s free and worth visiting. It’s a really old metro station with its advertising from back these days as well es the interior.
It is definitely worth a visit.

Well worth half an hour when in Madrid. It's free and a fun time capsule of Madrid's metro. Walk about, take some pictures of some old adverts from the 60s and don't be suprised when current trains rattle through the station...

It's a very cool place where you can go on a trip to the past and see the station as it was in the 60s when it closed. I recommend going if you want to get an idea of how the city expanded in the last century. The guided tour is also very informative and entertaining. You do have to get a reservation because it's unlikely that someone with a reservation will miss their appointment.

Wonderful museum of the history of Madrid’s metro, the technology, women’s role in the workforce and evening marketing of a metro that is 100+ years old. The guided tour is FANTASTIC. A heads up that it is exclusively in Spanish at the time.

Make sure the reserve tickets in advance as they get booked up, but you can also be on standby for no-shows. Enjoy!

Very small and nice Museum. The Movie is only in Spanish and without subtitles. But because it's for free, nothing to claim. ;)

The Chamberi metro station is a special place if you like mysterious histories. Worth-seeing, despite of the fact that the guidetour was all in spanish. However, the young man who was a guide, at the end summarized the story in english (thank you! ;)) We recommend this museum.

Free tourist attraction! This place is seriously interesting. Not exactly central but definitely worth a visit, the tours run on the hour and expect queues during any public holidays. Get there early and if you don't want a tour (or if you don't speak Spanish) they'll often let you in to have a wander and look around.
