Fermento Casa de Panaderos-Lagasca

Grabbed this on the way back to my Airbnb from a tour for a quick dinner (and breakfast the next day). Everything is delicious and much cheaper than in other places I've gone.

We popped in after smelling something delicious as we were walking by! The pain au chocolat and pumpkin loaf were INCREDIBLE. We’ll definitely be back here regularly!

Extraordinary good empanadas! Crisp and light.

The very best bakery in Madrid! On our third trip to Madrid, we discovered Fermento near our apartment. We tried every bread over the course of 11 days. They have the freshest most delicious breads in Madrid -- hands down. We have done the search.
Also, their pastries and brownies are to die for. The apple crumble, the brownie and the danish roll are so delicious and perfectly balanced treats. The staff is lovely -- they offered us samples and always greeted us with warmth and a smile. On our last evening we were here for Mothers day, and the gentleman at the front gave us several chocolate pastries on the house to take home with our bread. We love this place and wish you would open one in Miami. It would be a hit for sure. We will be back!

Fantastic, high-quality yet down-to-earth bakery in Recoletos. We love their varying selection of breads, and their mini cakes are to die for. The staff is always super sweet and I have to say, very patient with some grumpy customers.

That pumpkin bread is above and beyond. The bakery also offers a Christmas special from my hometown Caracas, which I found top-notch. The mystical “pan de Jamon”. Words can't describe how good the pastries are.

The bakery you get there is absolutely sensational. Not only is the taste good, the prices are very reasonable too. If you go there, I recommand you take the „Pain au chocolat“, which is a treat.

Best bread and pastries in town ! We are so happy Fermento is now opened in our neighborhood, it was definitely needed and we got a TOP bread and pastry shop. Perfect for both home daily goods and business meetings, it will not disappoint !!

Amazing bread, the place and the Location Is also very nice. They have different type of breads. We tried the pumpkin and the multicereal, very good!

Excelente pan. Pan de masa madre de textura y sabor inmejorables.
La atención es muy cordial y el lugar muy agradable. Me gusta mucho que su obrador esté a la vista.

Obrador de masa madre en la calle Lagasca en el barrio de Salamanca muy cerca del Retiro. Tienen otro local en la calle Ayala y en Valdebebas.

Tiene un pan de masa madre muy rico y a un precio razonable, en concreto el pan de calabaza que me llevé estaba delicioso!

Tienen también bollería, empanadillas, etc artesanas muy ricas.

En definitiva muy buen obrador y el mejor pan de calabaza que haya probado!

Soy clienta habitual desde que abrieron y tengo que decir que está todo delicioso. El pan de calabaza es mi favorito! La empanada de bonito está buenísima! Sin duda, mi panadería favorita de Madrid. El personal muy atento. Suele atender Pilar, majísima!
