Amazing place, so satisfied that we didn't skipped it. Flamingos can be seen on the early morning and from the afternoon. We got there early about 15 p.m. and didn't see any of them but glad we waited a few hours and got to see them from the viewpoint.

Also seen: a gecko, many-many hares, frogs and turtles and other species of birds (pied avocets, hoopoes, ducks, storks)

Worth the visit, driving is good, you can drive from Malaga for a toll way or spent 10 min more in a no toll route option as well, nice places to visit with kids, there is several short routes to walk and a visitor center with a small exhibition about Flamingos with decent bathrooms.

Increíble nature reserve where the flamingos migrate to, to rest and have their babies. We found other smaller Lakes nearest to Campillos and Ardales Lakes where you can get much closed and there were so many flamingos!

Considering the scarcity of rain for a few years now, serious draught, lack of water? not flamingos nor chicks... nothing we can do about it, still the huge site is astonishing, flat dry land, great views, under a overwhelmingly heat, 38°-40°+ Celsius...Clear skies, now we know how to get here for next time

Beautiful place and very peaceful. Quite a few flamingos plus lots of other waterfowl. Lovely few hours spent enjoying the countryside.

Nice little walk but you're kept well away from actual lagoon.

Went there for bird watching, it was amazing. There were pink flamingo everywhere, along with what seemed thousands of others birds. I was told March, April and May are the best months

Great visitor center! Check the small ponds because then you are closer to the birds. The large lagoon was dried to a very small portion. Worth a stop.

A place of beauty. Almost any time of the year there is something to see. With thousands of flamingos and every type of wader and warbler it is a bird watchers paradise. Photography can be tricky as you don't get as close as you would like but the sheer variety is worth the trip alone. Its a hidden gem.

While dry and hot, we still got to see a couple of hundred flamingos in the almost empty lagoon. Pity Interpretative Centre there very often closed. Also, a simple café there would benefit everyone (visitor and operator alike) - rather than a vending machine.

Beautiful, peaceful environment. Great reserve for wildlife and especially the 30,000 pink flamingos who visit every year from Mid February to May.

Truly outstanding if you enjoy nature, well worth a visit. Wild Flamingos as well as a wide range of other birds - including a family of Storks.

Interesting place to visit to see flamingos and other birds. A bit out of the way from main cities.

Amazing place tho drought has reduced water levels to the point, this breed season has not come to any joy, climate change is real

Great experience.
It is better to watch the flamingos at the smaller bay though, they are better visible.
