La Pastelería del Duque

A small but cozy café. There was a waiting line. The lady working there was working alone. The waiting was totally worth it. She was very kind and also helping with English. The coffee was very delicious. The chocolate cake creamy and fresh. The toasts were amazing. Crunchy with creamy fresh cheese, and Turkey. There was a small box of olive oil which was perfect with the toasts. The Nutella toast was also great. There are also wide variety of the home made cakes and cookies.

Found this Beautiful cozy little spot while walking. I ordered the vegan carrot cake and oat latte which were both great. (I’m vegan so it was nice to find some options here) Will definitely come back!

Lovely cafe, filled with locals so you know it’s good. The cakes and pastries are yummy - a great stop for a snack break.

Lovely corner cafe with some of the best pastries in the city. We had the egg tarts (pastel de Nata), ham and cheese croissant, and cappuccino and espresso. All were top notch! Their ham and cheese croissant was the best one I’ve ever had anywhere! Note for non-Spanish speakers, brush up on your Spanish skills before ordering. Although worker understands english, this a local novelty in the area so speaking in Spanish allows you to have the full experience here. Cafe is a one women show so be patient, it is so worth it!

Such a cute and nice small cafe. Went on a Saturday morning, I loved how quiet it was there.
Nice breakfast (lots of different cakes and toasts), good coffee and fresh orange juice.
Can’t use laptops on the weekends though but it seems a perfect place for working during the week.
I would definitely go back.
