Taberna La Española

Spanish food is not bad, but not my taste.
There is always a very strong taste on the food, for example spices or the pure taste of meat or fish...
Overall, it's not bad to try and the most interesting thing about this restaurant was that the price of the food changed if you wanted to sit outside.🤷🏻‍♀

Stayed in Madrid for 3 days and had my main meals here. The staff were excellent, the food was good. The price was extremely reasonable.

Order a burger here, it's amazing value for money. The thing weighed almost 1kg. Probably the biggest burger I've ever had. Bottle of wine was just €11. Cheesecake was super tasty too! Service was great. All in all we had a great experience here.

Good Tapas, delicious Oysters, all the food we ate was great and the drinks ,reasonably priced were the food.

Fantastic that they were able to take our table of 12 without a reservation. Service was quick and friendly. Paella was good and so was the burger. Happy to come across the restaurant and even happier that we enjoyed the food so much.

Amazing food and crazy big portions for the price. The place was not busy so we had the waiters full undivided attention. Really lovely waiter with a positive attitude who made the experience very enjoyable for us. Nice singing, btw!

Salad with salmon and caviar and salad with goat cheese, both excellent! Friday night, Madrid restaurants full, including this one, busy as a beehive. The staff at this restaurant were incredibly fast, team-oriented, kind and professional.

Good selection of items. Calamari was best I have ever had.

Great traditional Spanish taberna, with great food and amazing service. Delicious sandwiches! The tortilla española as well! Highly recommended!

Good place for breakfast. For 7.50 € you can have breakfast with coffe, yogurt and fresh from orange. 👍

I ordered chicken with potatoes and salad. It was delicious! It tasted like Peruvian chicken, which is my favorite! The waiter was super nice! I would definitely go back.

So good the 1st time we all came back the next day. Great breakfast Ham & Cheese Toastie, Yogurt, Orange Juice & Coffee for €5.50 also my wife had the Salmon & Advocate Tostado and the day before Jamon, Tomato etc Tostado, both lovely 😍.

Great place. Good location and reasonably priced. I was a bit surprised that they didn’t serve hot chocolate but what they do have tastes really good. My waiter Diego, was really friendly and professional. They’re always open at convenient times too. 5 stars!!!

Fast food but good for being fast food. Good value and coffee was good too.
