Was absolutely beautiful, Francisco Goya is buried here and he has a lovely church and tomb inside. The painting is very lovely, staff were very friendly, you cannot take pictures when inside; was definitely worth stopping by. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Such a beautiful place! A tiny “church” with a stunning ceiling… but be careful it’s not allowed to take picture so you need to be smart 😉

Gorgeous lifelike frescoes, the mirrors help you see them easily - make sure to look in all 4. Can't believe it's free. Such a change from Goya's later work, you can literally see how much losing his sight affected him

Impressive al fresco paintings of Goya, who is buried in this place. There is a very nice video explaining the history of the church and the paintings although it is in Spanish, so it's worth it to read some info before. There are some mirrors that help to have a better look at the paintings.

I can't believe this place is not on the radar. Amazing Goya frescos and chappel his tomb is actually here as well. Don't miss this and it's free.

I really liked the placed mirrors that help watching the ceiling painting with details.
Sunday was free entrance.

This is a very small church with one of the most beautiful interiors we’ve seen yet. We’ve seen a lot of Goya paintings, but none more beautiful than the frescoes Goya painted here. Goya is buried here and it is only fitting that his resting place is adorned with his best art. Entry is free and you will be asked not to take photos when your free ticket is handed to you. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not very busy. Since no photos are allowed, we asked if there were any printed images of the frescoes available, and a nice book (only in Spanish) is available for €2.00. We usually make a point not to spend any extra money in places that don’t allow photos, but made an exception here since entry was free. The book is very nice (worth 3X+ what they charge) and has the images of all the frescoes and the history of the place. For Goya fans, this is a must visit. This place is a 20-25 min walk from Plaza de España. We spent 20 min looking at the frescoes in here. This church is closed on Mondays.

Wonderfully preserved small Chapel, close to the centre of the city. The Goya ceiling frescoes are enthralling and have been lovingly restored. Definitely worth a visit, plus its free entry.

Must see! It's small, but the paintings are amazing. It's prohibited to take photos inside. Entrance is free.

This place is small, but I really did enjoy my visit here. It’s very peaceful and beautiful inside. If you can arrange your arrival time, you can go to this museum first , admire the inside and then next-door they built a copy of this church and the girl told me it’s exactly the same, except there are no frescoes.

No pictures are allowed to take inside, but it worth the visit. Goya painted the ceiling between June and December of the same year, on his more creative moment, when he was already deaf. He brings back a dead man to save his father that was unfairly claimed guilty for his death.

This small church has an absolutely stunning set of ceiling murals painted by Goya over the course of about six months, as well as the artist's tomb at the altar. Also offers several informative plaques on both the approach and creation process undertaken by Goya, as well as the approach and techniques utilized to carry out the restoration and stabilization of the murals between 2003 and 2005.

Is an architectural twin of the parish church (when facing the two buildings from the street, choose the building on the right-hand side). Free admission. Maintained by the Patrimonio Nacional.

A church turned into a museum with the most sumptuous ceiling painted by Goya. Only open until 2.00 pm. The most beautiful works by Goya I have seen to date, telling the story of a miracle by St Antonio de la Florida. Free admission.

Another must-see... the Goya Chapel.
And the dude is buried there. Pay your respects! And the ceiling frescoes are a color and compositional delight.
Take a cab back up the hill. (I did, to Plaza Mayor, then walked back into town center.)
This was at the end/bottom of a walk that began with the Palacio tour, then Temple Debod.
If you have time, there's a great sidewalk cafe before you head downhill in the park to Goya... and with enough time you might enjoy the little Six Flags cable cars gondolas that cross the river over to the big park and back (I didn't have time.).

This is the chapel with the amazing Goya fresco. The similar building next door was purpose built in 1928 for worship without disturbance from art lovers... Make sure you enter the correct building!

Free to get in and the ceiling above where Goya is buried is painted by the man himself. A little detached from the other main sites but it is well worth it

This museum is worth visiting to see the burial place of Goya and the art work on the ceiling of the church.
