Me and my friends had the most amazing experience at this very special hidden gem in the heart of Madrid! Such a great atmosphere, tasty sangria and the best paella I have ever had! Special kudos to the chef who tested us as a long time friends! Definitely recommend!

Cost place near at the center of the city. Popular, but not over crowded. Food is great, especially code, squids, knives. Very nice stuff, they found good table for us for 5 min. Please pay attention to the bill, it might be something missing (like in ours).

Delicious food - probably the best we had in Spain! The garlic prawns and pippi’s were amazing and paella just as good. Disappointing to see other reviews saying the rice was undercooked, but clearly don’t understand that paella rice should be al dente. We loved the vibe in here and the service was fast and welcoming. We will be coming back!

Restaurant is very nice, small and cosy. Staff was very friendly. There was no strong seafood smell in the restaurant. Nice selection of wines. Sea food was very nicely prepared. Price and quality balance. Very good atmosphere. Free wifi and not only sea food.

Amazingly friendly staff and delicious food. The razor clams was nicely done and the sangria was one of the best that we’ve tried in Madrid.

Wow! We had been looking for great Spanish seafood at local prices, authentic flavor and great local wine.. Amat La Mar was sensational. The seafood is brought in fresh each day and the tapas dishes were great to share with friends!

Hidden gem of Madrid, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly. I would recommend the garlic prawns, paella and the pippis.
