One of the most amazing museums we visited in a city full of amazing museums! The tour and museum are a must-see even if you are not here for a bullfight! You can learn almost everything about the tradition of bullfighting in Spain here. The audio tour is well done.

Free entry for the museum. Not allowed to take photos or videos. Has English illustrations for most of the exhibits. Display of paintings, sculptures and items like historical posters of bullfighting events/accounting record, impressive stories of significant bullfighters, alongside their costumes, from end of 18th century to the recent years. I spent two hours there, feeling like traveling back in time, touched by the bullfighters' dedication to the game, individual styles, paths to becoming matadors and fates through their career, and that they also performed for charity. Interesting to know about the few women bullfighters in history too.

Its huge and full of stories, each corner has a detail story. It's part of the culture of the country. Unfortunately cause of the Pandemie no events took place, only you can have an Audio guided tour. Which is absolutely fine to get to know more about this game, animals, heros, and the details of the building.

What a great experience it was to visit Madrid's main bullfighting ring. It's a Spanish tradition and to understand bullfighting, you need to know Spanish history, that's a lot of history. In any case I truly enjoyed it and it's a short ride on the bus or metro from El Centro de Madrid.

Good Museum in the end of the tour or, if you want, you can just enter the museum directly from the opposite side of the arena. The museum is a nice experience and tells you the story of how bull fighting took place in Madrid or in general. Fotos can't be made in the museum, which is a little sad, since there are some rally nice figures in it. Anyhow, the information input is a lot, but nice to hear the stories of several different bull fighters.

A lovely museum of the history of bullfights. Beautiful paintings of matadors, sculptures, heavily adorned costumes, capes, swords, bull heads of famous bulls. Free entry but no photos allowed. Excellent place worth visit.

Very well organized.. we went with a seven and three year old. The 3 yr old was able to tolerate the whole tour.. but started to lose it at the very end. Super interesting.

Lots to see here relating to the world of bullfighting 🐂. The exponents of the art are portrayed as heroes, of that there is no doubt. To question the validity of a bullfighter would be to question Spain itself. I am no fan of bullfighting but you cannot help but admire the bravado and straightforward cahunas of the masters of the ring

One day I will come to watch bull fighting. I did a project on Spain at school, what such culture they have. It sounds so fun. They also have some uuummmm looking foods. I would also want to run with the bulls, I will try my best to not get trampled.
If you are planning a trip or looking if this is a good place just saying this is where I would go..
Only 15 can't wait till I'm 18 so I can go

It was well worth the visit, except the fact that the center ring is blocked off with tents for a winter event. The staffs were very friendly. Definitely a must visit.
