Stayed here and ate here. Food is awesome! Owners are very sweet and funny and clearly proud of their delicious food! Had scallops and some other specialities from the menu. All were good including the freebie olives to start. Actually, the olives were the best olives I’ve ever had! Or at least near the top.

Rooms are simple and clean and very comfortable for a weary pilgrim. Nothing fancy but had everything needed. Definitely a good spot to stay for the night (or pass through and eat!).

I ate my late lunch (pulpo) and the next morning my breakfast (eggs and bacon). Both were of really good quality and quantity. I really liked the warm welcome by the owners. We didn't speak each others language, but they made me feel very welcome. It was very close to the albergue I stayed at (Alborada). And they open at 6:30, perfect!

One.of the best, if not the best place where I ate. Manolo is hilarious, made me feel like home. Pollo asado was great, soft and juice, good price, big amount. Croquetas yummy. I liked the rooms too. Very relaxing there. I RECOMMEND!!!

I was part of a group of pilgrims who stopped here for lunch. What a treat! Manolo was a delightful host —warm and welcoming and hilarious—and the scallops and mixed salad were fabulous. Certainly a highlight of our walk through beautiful Galicia.

Some of the best food on the Camino. I had the Raxo Bocadillo with peppers, and it exceeded my expectations. The terrace was very comfortable, and because it was across the roadway from the Camino path, we didn't have to deal with the passing crowd. Take the time and make the effort, you'll be glad you did.

Great place to spend the last night along the Camino before walking the last 27 kms into Santiago. The hostess is a great cook, and the host does a fantastic job with his coffee art. The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable.

Great spot right on the Camino trail.
The family is friendly, rooms are large and spacious. The walls are a bit thin and the hallway echos, so bring ear plugs and you'll be set. The rooms are so clean and have splashes of color in the decoration, which I appreciate.
Really lovely countryside views, I'm loving the greenery!
There's a relaxing bar/Cafe below which serves amazing food. Tonight I ordered the pork knuckle, and with a side of red wine, there's nowhere else I'd rather be.
Very quiet, serene, lovely spot.

Artesanal beer, award-winning scallops and a goat cheese, walnut, fruit covered green salad to boot! DE-LI-CIOUS!!!! Manolo and Teresa and their staff go above and beyond to treat you like home. Thank you!!!

Ps if you have one of their beers you can leave a message “on a bottle” and place it on their terrace wall!

Very kind host! Its a nice place to stay. Very cheap but really good hamburgers! The portions are big and good seasoned. U can wash your clothes outside and relax in the garden. I can recommend this place for eating and sleeping. Keep it up guys!

This is a unique and wonderful experience in hotel's and it's restaurant on the Camino. The home made food was the best on the whole camino.the quality was perfect. We had pork knuckle grilled vegetables and scollops .plus a bottle of excellent wine. All perfect. If you are in the area dont skip this place also the homemade cakes are delicious..

Great food and Tia Teresa and Manolo provided exceptional service! Our room was clean and bathroom spotless. Shampoo and soap were provided too. We also enjoyed the bowl of candy on the nightstand.

The couple running this wonderful establishment made us feel truly at home. If you want an authentic local experience: eat like a local, drink like a local and be treated like a local you have to stay at Tia Teresa. It’s at a convenient 27 kms from Santiago which is probably too much for one go in Camino terms. So our suggestion is that you relax here, plan a stay somewhere between Tia Teresa and Santiago and make it to the cathedral in a relaxed fashion.
Tia Teresa and her husband are two veterans of the hospitality industry. Their rooms are newly renovated, slightly higher than the customary Camino standard.
The food is simply delicious. You must try the local zamburiñas (a mussel like delicacy grilled and served in a olive oil based sauce).

The service was great. Lovely man served our food. You have to try the homemade Santiago cake - the house specialty. If it’s a sunny day, make sure to sit in the terrace next to the road!

We didn’t stay, we just had food and used the toilets which were clean.

You can feel the love the owners have for their businesses in every detail. Our room was cozy, super clean and full of sweet details. Everything smelled super nice (towels and bed linen) and there were little candies in the room. They also have a restaurant you should definitely try! The Zamburiñas (Scallops) and the Tarta de Santiago were by far the best ones I've ever had.
Try also their home brewed beer 😊

We had food at the bar. We tried the roasted chicken and it was the most tender chicken i have ever had. Highly recommend the food.

I cannot tell you fully how perfect this place is. We arrived walking on the camino whilst It was still dark in the morning, when we came inside they had everything ready, it was cosy warm and lovely romantic music was playing. Coffee was served with a smile and a joke from the couple who run it. We ate literally the tastiest homemade tarte de santiago I had in the whole of Spain, she makes it herself YOU MUST TRY THIS IT'S PERFECT. They also make their own beer for the peregrinos and gave one to us to try for free. On the way out the guy who runs it came outside and gave us all sweets. It was a really golden moment. Thankyou casa tia Teresa!
