It was refreshing to have a waiter who is fluent in 3 different languages and who was jovial with his customers.

Great spot. Food is next level and the service is quick and friendly. Try the Galician sandwich. You will not be sorry! (Unless you are one of those pale and timid souls who doesn’t like sardines 😜) … oh and the home made lemon cheesecake: now *that’s* a religious experience!

Do yourself a favor and stop at Marela when doing the Camino! This is really a gem in the route and have amazing food. The service is fantastic and the waiters speaks English. The burrito tasted so good!

Great selection of foods, everything looks delicious. I had perfect eggs and bacon and ginger lemonade. Wish all the cafés on camino would be like this one. Great atmosphere with all happy pilgrims :)

You must stop here and try the ginger lemonade and the tomato sandwich! Super ! Best sandwich I’ve had in Spain!

This place is so good, I went back for a second time during my visit in Galicia. I even took a sandwich to go. The food and service are amazing!

Best burrito we had in spain so far, and the vegetarian one was even better!

The sardine and red pepper sandwich was soooo good, especially with the freshly made ginger lemonade. My friend loved the gluten free burger on rice cakes. Our waiter was so sweet and enthusiastic and the price was great. A perfect lunch stop on the Camino.

If you have hunger, this is the place to stop and eat. Menu is excellent, menu del día excellent. Food is fabulous a must stop!! Also staff are very friendly and helpful

Worth skipping a stop at A Salcedo and pushing through to stop here. Tuna salad was great, home made lemonade too.

One of the very best meals on the Camino in the coziest space with a lovely staff, you will not regret stopping here!

If I could give this restaurant 7/5 I would. The best food we've had in Galicia, as well as the best service! The staff were so friendly and forgiving of our beginner Spanish! There's lots of seating inside and out! We loved their craft beers, burgers, fresh orange juice and ginger lemonade, and salads! Plus their desserts were perfect! Their pilgrim menu is 12 euro and is 3 courses plus bread!

Marela has possibly the best sandwiches on the Camino. Definitely stop here! It’s a real restaurant with servers and a chef wearing crocs, but also still reasonably priced. Truly amazing!!
