BUA GARDEN Restaurant

Had a lovely experience at BUA Garden this evening. The food was fantastic, the views from the outside seating area are beautiful. There was also great live music performed on the evening, even a feature from one of the waitresses who was excellent! Had a great atmosphere in the restaurant, would 100% return for another meal.

Peaceful ambience and !!amazing!! service. We came twice in one week. Both service employees did an amazing job in explaining the details of the menu, offering us options in the case that the menu didn’t hold our wishes. They both deserve a raise! ;)

One of the first to try the English Breakfast. It was amazing. Well presented and tasty! I can highly recommend

We returned after a few months, and we have found different flavors. Apparently there is a change of Chef and the foods are much better balanced. We tried the green curry and pork ribs. Both were a spectacle, the curry with a freshness and the right spiciness, the ribs were totally juicy, their bone fell away from the meat, and their barbecue sauce was delicious, apparently homemade. The menus should have the English option. The service from the waiters was very good, and at the end of the meal the chef approached us and asked us how our experience had been, that seemed unusual but very pleasant. We will be back soon.

Due to the very mixed reviews we haven’t rushed to eat here but last night we did …. It’s local, the terrace is very peaceful and they have live music on a Wednesday night.

In a nutshell, it was brilliant !

Casual and relaxed locals and regular musicians wandered in from about 6.30pm. The staff were charming, the service very helpful and attentive.
It’s different - the decor is fresh and interesting, there was a good atmosphere with background ‘tuning up’ and general friendliness and chit chat.

The menu feels a bit disjointed to me but, with some help from our lovely waitress, we ordered.
Nothing disappointed at all ….
Delicious, Thai vegetable spring roll wraps (not fried) a cold starter, fresh and packed veg with flavour, great presentation, good sized portion. The chicken skewers were spot on too, just an appetiser, well marinated and tender. We should have ordered more of both!

We then shared a Thai green chicken curry with rice. One of the best I’ve had, full of veg, still with a crunch, spicy, balanced, satisfying and very tender chicken.

My husband had a cheesecake to follow, beautifully presented, with a blackberry glaze. Good coffee followed.

I’ll be honest, the mix of Asian with Spanish made me ponder over the menu for a while but we eventually decided and it turns out we chose just what we fancied. Couldn’t fault it!

I believe, there is a new chef, he came and said hello and asked if we’d enjoyed our food - it obviously mattered to him - which is a very good sign.

The ‘Jam session’ was fun too, very friendly, all ages, mixed abilities and well supported.
Kitchen staff were smiling and having a quick dance, everyone felt very happy to be there.

A couple of points.

I personally hate a menu with photos, I’d prefer a better description in words, for me that helps me decide what to choose. Do ask for advice and recommendations when ordering. The format of the menu definitely needs improving. Really interesting, fresh and tasty food is available and on the menu, but it’s not very clear.
Perhaps have a separate Asian page.

An offering of nuts/olives/anything with drinks would be very welcome.

The entrance lobby isn’t as tidy nor as welcoming as the restaurant. I think, from the outside it puts you off a bit (just my opinion and it could be improved very easily)

Anyway, don’t be put off, give it a go, it’s is well worth it and a little gem with a difference on our doorstep.

We will return, we’ve booked again for next Wednesday when there is a guest band.

We love it here Fridays with entertainment I'd excellent great food great atmosphere. Sundays for lunch is also.amazing, if you can't gat a table the pizza shark downstairs is also amazing

Food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Great views of the sunset from the terrace. Would recommend.

Just had a fabulous Thai meal at Bua Garden with family. Had Thai Green Chicken Curry, Pad Thai with chicken, Drunken Noodles with chicken and Penang with pork. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Thoroughly recommend it for taste, quality and service. We'll be back!

Probably one of the best Thai in the area. It's in an Urbanisation but don't worry you can enter the urbanisation and park in front of the restaurant. It's really good. Fair priced and excellent service. From the terrace you have a beautiful view till the sea

Really lovely situation overlooking the golf course and a varied and interesting menu.
The dishes we have tried so far have all been really good with great presentation.
Look forward to returning to try more.

We arrived very late and were worried we wouldn't be served. They fitted us in and served us lovely food quickly.

Very good food and excellent service. I enjoyed the California rolls and then Pad Thai. Delicious. Well worth a visit !
