Marina De La Duquesa

A fascinating little harbor where many small boats from distant places dock. The boat owners stay in waterfront guesthouses, and they can see their boats by simply opening the window. Along the shore, there are dozens of restaurants offering a variety of flavors, one after another.

Beautiful port town in Manilva. Home from home for a lot of people. Lovely setting by the sea. With a huge selection of bars and restaurants. Don't miss the old Castillo Duquesa Free entry wonderful historical objects on display. Will have to go back again.

And picturesess ,golf course near and lovely villagers

Lovely and quiet during the off peak season and the weather is not too bad either. Best time of year for those who hate the really hot weather.

Had an apartment overlooking the marina during the Xmas holidays.
Everything you need in walking distance.

Lots of bars and restaurants to have a snack or a meal.
There's lots of boats and yachts moored there. Interesting walking around and looking at them and where they come from. You can watch them coming in and out of the marina. There's also a working boat yard which do repairs and maintenance work. Busy place with lots of people walking around. There are various short walks around the area as well as a local supermarket "Arkwrights" which is open everyday from 9- 10pm.

Excellent places in the Port of La Duquesa. I heard the beaches were more empty and virgin here and it does not disappoint. Very natural and bohemian area with tons of peace and tranquility!! Lovely area to visit or stay!!

More precisely The Mexican Grill & Bar. Very good mexican.. So good I forgot to take pictures until afterwards. Good job my other half took the Chicken Nachos... enjoy

A great destination for retirement or just getting away from the world. Few places in the world are so magical as the Southern Coast of Spain.
I remember coming as a child and spending all summers here. The sun always rises and it barely rains.
On thing to note about Manilva; it is a famous British vacation spot, so will find many pubs and their typical things.

Located about an hour Southwest of Malaga, there are supermarkets but if you want a bigger place to shop you'll need to drive to Estepona. I'd recommend the Carrefour.

Great Port. Lovely Bars and Restaurants. A great homely feel and no hens or stags.

Great seating, cosmopolitan clientele, has the longest hours of sun on the terrace, and fab background music.

Great place, lively and loads of restaurants and bars. The beach is all but 2 seconds away!
