Lovely area to visit. Nice beach. If you're a surfer the waves are decent 👌. Several bars around. Good restaurants too. Worth visiting Algorta whilst you're there.

If you're in the Algorta area I highly recommed to visit this little fisherman's village. Cozy, beautiful sights and plenty of little restaurants to make a stop and have a taste of the deliciousness of Basque gastronomy. Fish is king here! Beach at the bottom of the village to top a wonderful excursion!

One of the highlights of our Bilbao stay. Not to be missed! Good vibes, nice tapas bars, relaxed atmosphere.

An old fishing village that still captures the flair of the old times. Very nice restaurants and bars for meals and/or pintxos. I like walking there from las Arenas to enjoy the promenade.

To get the sea-feel of Bilbao we went to visit Puerto Viejo (old harbour). A popular place for the Bilbainans to visit in the weekends. To go to the beach or to have a nice lunch in one of the many restaurants where the main attraction is, ofcourse, a fish dish.

Lovely walk along the beach. Refreshing breeze, beautiful views and a taberna for a glass of wine, coffee, or a bite to eat. It's what a visit to País Vasco is all about!

Lovely place for a walk, nice atmosphere tho it was raining, I did enjoy most of it, worth visiting. 😀

This made a nice trip on the metro from.central Bilbao. There are some good views and you can have an eccellent cup of coffee by the harbour. I rate this trip.higher than seeing.the Guggenheim.

This is a beautiful place. Entry visitor should make and effort to see it. I recommend it highly

It has an excellent view of the sea and the beach. It is like a maze with all the dead ends but there is only one difference, you can see where you are going, it has bars, restaurants, cafes and beautiful houses. It is a good place to relax and watch the sea lapping at the sand. I recommend you to go up there using either the elavator or the stairs and go down the other one. See if you can find your way down!
