An excellent example of how to keep the facade of a beautiful building and then do a remarkable transformation inside. The pillar supports are particularly wonderful and a great deck on top and swimming pool ! Sculptures in main area we're also fascinating.

A great example of converting derelict buildings into a public space for all to use. The Alhóndiga used to be Bilbaos central warehouse to store corn, wine and olive oil in huge barrels. It was ultimately abandoned and fell into a state of disrepair. During the 1990's it was restored into a building containing a public swimming, with a glass bottom, a library, cinema plus gym. There are several cultural shops, restaurants and bars within the complex. The ground floor is an open space with ornately designed columns. Well worth a visit.

My favorite place in Bilbao... Something for everyone! Try the croque monsieur croissant sandwich in the cafe on the main floor, and ask about the elevator to the terrace on the top floor. 😀

The Axminster Zentroa is a must-visit destination. It's located in a vibrant area with plenty of shops, and the staff members are incredibly friendly. The center's design is a brilliant fusion of old and new, making excellent use of the existing building.

Overall, my experience was fantastic. The friendly staff and innovative design make it a standout destination. I highly recommend visiting this impressive Center.

Amazing building which is actually a shopping mall. We went to the lower level only which was a local art gallery. Beautiful art works and friendly stall. Worth a visit.

Great community centre.this place is amazing. Very impressive architecture. As you step in, you are positively surprised by the more than 40 columns on the ground floor. The centre has a gym, a library - both very well equipped -, restaurants (with a rooftop terrace), and it hosts events. It also has a few concept shops and space for workshops and concerts. Look for the pool on ceiling from the ground floor. Very cool

Only got a glimpse of this building, but we loved what we saw. A special kudos for the sitting area under the moon! The communal areas are packed with interesting arts and design objects, and offer a great opportunity for visitors to relax and enjoy great creations!

I love the place as it is so cozy, the cocktails are awesome, the waiter is super friendly, and the toilet is great for toilet selfie 😉. The bar is located on the rooftop.

One thing that a bit bothers us tho, it’s kinda expensive. Although I also think it is normal as people are there for the experience, therefore the don’t mind with the high prices.

I loved this place. I visited it on a Sunday afternoon and there were a lot of families with young children. There's a lot to it. You can visit a museum, a library, there are different exhibitions, cafés. In the library there is a section called acércate a Bilbao. I enjoyed learning more about this beautiful city.

I used the pool. I will say right away that it is quite an unusual solution. The swimming pool was on the 4th floor and the changing rooms on the 3rd floor. You have to go up the stairs if you want to swim, unfortunately you can get cold sometimes. The pool itself is beautiful, more strictly because there are two indoor pools. one swim 25m and the other more regenerative. I recommend it for training, it even has a swim timer :)
The entrance costs 7 €, unlimited in time and is open until 21:30. Lockers in the cloakroom extra € 1

This place was designed by the famous french interior designer Philippe starck. It has 43 different colums on the ground floor from wood, concrete, marble, brick etc. It has a fancy restaurant and a bar in the top. Also it has a pool with a visible bottom to the inside of this building.

Beautiful community center built in an old wine warehouse. There's a library and also a gym open to the public (€ 10,40 for each visit when I was there; discounts for seniors, students, etc). The gym is one of the nicest I've ever seen in Europe. There are public restrooms throughout the facility and a large information center on the main floor. There's a parking facility (€) as well.

Very special architecture, combining the original historical outside facade from around 1900 with modern internal buildings. Housing convention rooms fitness, pools, roof top bar/ restaurant, ground floor with special design pillars. Information center officers on groundfloor very pleasant and knowledgable

In 1905 a very young Ricardo Bastida was commissioned to build a new wine exchange in Ensanche de Albia quarter, Bilbao, and he outlined a large functional advanced industrial building. In the 1970s, it was left abandoned & waiting to be put to a new use, the 43,000 square metres (462848.15 sq.ft.) of Azkuna Zentroa arose out of the old wine warehouse.
So on the outside 1905 and you enter into a beautiful current cultural center. The thing that's amazing are the 43 columns (pillars) inside the structure. They represent millions of columns, and infinity of cultures, architectures, wars and religions through which man has passed throughout history per my guide. Also no columns of the same material or similar style are put near each other.

You need to enter here to realize the beauty of this place. The columns designed by
Philippe Starck are really beautiful. The mediatheque is really quite and it worth to pay a visit as well. Don't forget the rooftop bar, for a good cocktail at sunset.

Fun culture center with these very artistic columns and various exhibitions. You can also swim in the 3rd floor pool. Or enjoy the light show on the roof top
