Teatro Arriaga

Beautiful building. We enjoyed a tour today. We have not seen any performances here.

Incredibly beautiful and ornate theater. Great acoustics.

Went to the premier of new Ballet entitled Lost Letters, totally absorbing and magical performance. Great use of multi media for storytelling. Beautiful theatre worth visiting on its own but take in a performance if you can. Staff were very helpful.

The Arriaga antzokia in Basque or Teatro Arriaga in Spanish is an opera house in Bilbao, Spain. It was built in Neo-baroque style by architect Joaquín Rucoba in 1890, the same architect that built the city hall. It is named after Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, known in his time as the "Spanish Mozart".

Very gorgeous theatre. Friendly box office staff. Good curation. Wish there were more people supporting performing arts !!

Teather building has lovely architecture.

The guided tour in English is well worth the admission of 6 euros. Very Regal and full of history, similar but a bit smaller than Royal Albert Hall, London. Also the theatre has a lift with access to all floors for the less mobile.

I went to go see Sister Act here a couple months ago. I sat in the very top section, but I still was able to see and hear very clearly. The whole building is gorgeous on the outside and the inside!

I have been to a few events here. Its located in an easy to get to place close to the Casco Viejo where you can have Pintoxs before/after you go for a show or event. Look forward to attending more diverse events.

English guided tours of the theatre are available in the weekends that showcase the history of the theatre and rooms that are not normally open to the public. The tour is about 50 mins long.

Lovely architecture and great location on the side of the river close to the old part. Lookout for great places to eat nearby.

Excellent productions. A wide range of plays/shows/ballets/music. Something for everyone. Great acoustics.

Such an amazing theatre...beautiful decor. We got last minute tickets for €12 fab value!

Lindo! Go visit it. Guide vists on the weekends, take care cause usually on Sunday they only have in Euskera.

Located near metro Casco Viejo, theatre is a common meeting place for both local people and foreigners.

5 stars for the outside look. Haven't been inside...yet.

We saw an amazing acrobatic show with a set that revolved in all planes.

Great venue set in great mountain scenery.
