I’ve got to say only positive feedback to Centauro Car Rental! We searched a lot for the best Car Rental and to be honest, we got worried after reading all the negative reviews at different car rentals all over Barcelona. But now I’ve got to say we’ve been very satisfied with Centauro. We picked up a car in like 5 minutes, no more, I swear, and the car was comfortable, new, and in great condition. We got a Toyota Corolla and I actually fell in love with it. The seats were so comfy that I wanna have them at home. 😄 There were some minor scratches at the bumper but it didn't matter as we had the car fully insured in Centauro. I strongly recommend getting a vehicle covered by premium insurance directly in Centauro. It is definitely worth it as we got an empty tire on a highway. Centauro called us taxi and service immediately and we were waiting only 45 minutes to fix it. And returning the car was also very fast. They checked it in 10 minutes, we signed some docs and we got the deposit right the next day. Great company!!5* star service, just make sure you purchase the full insurance and you’ll be fine.

In and out within 15 mins. The staff was extremely helpful. Rented the car for 7 days.

Took the complete insurance from centauro so no checks were done only the fuel level was checked when we returned the car.

And there is a free shuttle from and to the airport.

I have paid premium insurance, it was worth it.
After we got a flat tire, the helpline worked great. Later they called us directly from the office in Barcelona and we agreed on the details, after 45 minutes a mobile service and a taxi arrived. All resolved to our satisfaction. I will only recommend this car rent and I will definitely look for it again.

Last year we rented from Centauro in Lisbon, this year we’ve decided on Barcelona, and it was even better! Got upgraded to a better car for the same price (Alessandro was really helpful and professional), and we’ve gone through the entire process, from the shuttle to driving away in the blink of an eye.

Returned the car to Sants station, which also went really smooth, and got reimbursed for the fuel in a couple of days.

Our suggestion is to book via Centauro app and take full coverage.

Everything went smoothly, the staff was helpful and the car was new and super clean! I would definitely book with them next time.

We arrived in Barcelona, ​​the shuttle was waiting for us, they didn't wait even a minute, excellent service!! We received the car we ordered. The car was clean and tidy and the girl at the reception was pleasant and explained. I recommend it.

Quality service. Thank you! I would just recommend developing a way or system for EV charging, probably through the app, because apparently EV charging companies would not accept direct payment or even a visa card. But the service was perfect and the drop off was smooth. The shuttle service is great. Thank you.

everything went smoothly, the car rental is not directly in the bcn el prat airport terminal, but they have a private shuttle that takes you there (about 10 mins). at the pick-up the person at the desk, sara, was quite rude - not only to us, but also to her co-workers. at drop-off on the other hand everyone was very friendly and they made sure to call the shuttle right away, so we could get back to the airport fast. they checked the car but the process wasn't too long and we could leave. overall good experience and fair price! we had a fiat 500 dolcevita which is a self recharging hybrid perfect for 2. it doesn't consume too much fuel, so our expenses for that in one week of traveling quite a lot was just a bit over 50€.

Brilliant service. In and out in ~15m (Sunday morning). Booked an automatic for 5d and received a clean, well maintained and modern car. Took their full insurance and had zero hidden charges and no cleaning fee upon return. Petrol refunded in as little as 2 days. Staff were excellent and friendly.

Decent rental company. I’ve rented a Mazda for a week. Communication and the airport shuttle to their office at the airport
are all taken good care of. Car was in good shape and everything was as you hope it will be.
Can’t go wrong at this place.
They don’t accept amex cards for safety deposit.. so make sure to bring a visa/mastercard or else you will be in trouble like I was.

Whether I travel to Spain, Portugal or Italy, Centauro is my only car renter. I'm using that company for many years now and i actually never had any problems with it.
Collecting the car is easy- leaving the car even easier. I'm always buying full cover as to not pay excess. And is actually very well priced.
The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. The cars always ready to drive in good condition.

Our flight was delayed and we missed our connection: we knew this would make us miss the last train up the coast, so while waiting in Heathrow we made a last minute booking for a car for the same evening with Centauro. Booking directly on their website, we got a very good deal for an electric Fiat 500 for 10 days, including comprehensive insurance and a second driver. We were able to upload photos of our passports, driving licences and selfies directly to the website which worked well. On arrival at the airport the instructions for finding the shuttle bus stop were very clear, we only had to wait a few minutes for a shuttle, and after a short drive we reached the Centauro depot. There, the staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The process was quick because we had already uploaded the ID documents and completed the online form. We hadn't driven an electric car before, so we were given clear and helpful information about battery life and where to charge. It was late, and we were tired, so we were very relieved by how smooth the whole process was. The car was very easy to drive and charge. Returning it at the end of the holiday was also very easy.

rented a car for 3 days and couldn’t have been easier & smoother! they charge you €85 when you pick up the keys which is refunded to you if you return the car with a full tank of petrol. it was back in my account within 4 hours of returning the car. we didn’t come from the airport to rent the car so never used the shuttle bus. coming from barcelona city the metro to Mas Blau leaves you a 2 min walk away - soooo easy!

The staff was friendly and professional and provided all the relevant info. The service during both pick-up and return was quick and efficient and there was no waiting time at all. The car provided was also very nice and clean.

Overall I am very pleased with this service.

Highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable and have good collection are new cars. Very reliable and trustworthy company. We booked a car and they gave us almost zero meter car. The insurance and refund policy was clearly explained. We had some issues in fuel refund but the customer service was very helpful and they solved the problem efficiently. We will definitely use this company in the future.

super company, i used them in madrid, porto and 3rd time here.
they have full insurance, good prices, they dont need credit card (super-super-super), they have airport shuttle bus. really, i can just recommend them if you want a hassle free car rental experience. also this time i returned the car pretty dirty and it seems it was okay.

Car hire in Centauro Barcelona airport was cost efficient. There was no hidden extra cost, and I was satisfied. I have an experience of car-hire in the Centauro at Rome airport, Italy. Their service was also good. And I would like to come back to Centauro in next travel.
