Great visit to the olive mill. Juan explained how olive oil is made as we walked through the mill. Wine, olive oil & bread followed. Video inside also shows anything you might have missed. Great visit. Muchas gracias!

Authentic Spanish house - just like flying back 7-8 decades in time. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, big enough living room with sofas. We really enjoyed the day we spent there. The neighborhood with the village and its medieval castle worth to see. Also the restaurants nearby with traditional local foods are nice.

I love to experience authentic local culture- and this place was the epitome of doing that. 11 generations of olive oil production. The current family memory running the operation and doing the tour (in Spanish). The old equipment that used to be steam powered before converting to electricity. The pictures on the walls of the family with prize bull fighters and even with Ernst Hemingway. Not to mention, great olive oil and personal service that only this kind of ownership can bring. Visiting was one of my favorite parts of my vacation in Spain.

If you like olive oil and mills you'll love this place! We popped in and had a wonderful time. Juan was warm and welcoming and spoke very good English. The tour was information and fascinating. Their olive oil is totally organic and very tasty as is the homemade liquor Juan's uncle makes, and the jamon marinated in their olive oil (wish we'd bought a bigger jar). You get to taste the olive oil with fresh bread, a large glass of the honey tasting sherry type liquor whilst watching a video showing the mill in action. Absolute gem. A treasured experience.

This place is wonderful! Juan and his mother are very open and friendly. After a great tour of the mill, I had a sample tasting of the best olive oil I have ever tasted.

Such a welcoming experience and really enjoyed the tour. The owners of an 11th generation company truely made us feel welcome. At to say the least the oil was unbelievably yummy! Highly recommend.

Muy buena experiencia, todas las veces que hemos ido a Zahara de la Sierra y es la primera que vamos a este lugar. Lo hemos descubierto para nuestra sorpresa... Magnífico. Y la señora que nos atendió muy bien....volveremos. El aceite de 10....

Nette Führung durch die Ölmühle. Im Anschluss konnte man den Vorgang noch mal am Fernseher nachvollziehen und Öl, Honig, Oliven etc. kaufen. Schöne, reizvolle Umgebung mit Burg, schönem Städtchen und schönem Blick über den Stausee. Alles in allem ein gelungener Ausflug

Uno de los últimos molinos donde se hace el aceite por prensada en frío de forma artesanal. Está claro que no sale rentable pero gracias a las visitas turísticas y la casa rural pueden de momento, mantenerlo. Ojalá tuvieran más ayudas de la junta para que no se pierdan nuestras raíces. Muy interesante, recomiendo la visita guiada, con explicaciones de dueño que es un gran profesional.

Nos tocó la villa grande. Sinceramente una pasada, grande, espaciosa, limpia...
Lo que más nos gustó es que está cerca del pueblo pero está en zona tan tan tranquila que no escucha nada por la noche ni el día, nada, ni los grillos .

Personal simpático, agradable. Estancia cómoda.

Como sugerencia y precaución deberían arreglar las columnas del vallado de piscina, se mueven todos y puede caerse y la gente.

Una estancia fantástica, la casa del guarda. Todo muy limpio con todas las comodidades que se debe tener para disfrutar de unas gratas vacaciones. Dispone de una gran piscina muy bien preparada. Un lugar enclavado muy cerca del centro de Zahara. Me gustaría destacar la gran amabilidad de sus gestores ofreciendo todos los acondicionantes para sentirte como en tu propia casa. SI TE DECIDES A PROBAR SEGURO QUE NO TE ARREPENTIRÁS.

La casa está genial! Hemos venido 6 y nos han puesto en la casa grande, es para 19 personas y se está genial. El entorno es magnífico. Hay muchos pueblos preciosos alrededor. La piscina la tienen muy cuidada. En general le doy un 10. Para repetir.

Una casa con unas vistas impresionantes al pantano. Una casa de dos plantas, muy limpia y tiene de todo. En la cocina hay de todo (menaje suficiente para todos, microondas, horno, botellero y frigorífico) Todo muy nuevo. Todas las habitaciones con baño. Comedor grande en la planta de abajo y otro enorme en la planta de arriba. Para repetir, sin duda
