Genuinely a fantastic experience, although I can’t imagine how insane the waiting times are during the peak seasons as I visited over a weekend in February perhaps a fast pass is a must buy during mid term breaks and over the summer. The best theme park in Europe with some incredible rides.

Myself, partner and our four children (6-8) came here on a rainy day in August! The water was cold and there was no sun to warm us up, so we spent most of the day very cold! But going on a rainy day meant there were no queues for the slides. We went on the slides many times and did all enjoy ourselves, minus being cold. There is a lot of walking about to do outdoors, so if I returned I'd bring beach shoes. The lockers are expensive but keep your items safe. We left our towels and drink bottles out of the lockers and took them around with us and left them on a lounger near the slides we would go on. Annoying you can't take your phone on any slides but I hid mine in my towel pile and it stayed safe! The food was pricey, but we had some chips to share and they were very tasty! But small portion for the price. There were plenty of toilets about, which was handy for the children.
Overall, it was a good day apart from the cold weather. But I guess if it was hot and sunny, we would have had less rides on the slides and had to wait about in queues for long time.

During October the queues are short, and the weather was great. The Portaventura itself was brilliant and caters for all ages. Lots of places to eat and drink and a varied selection of cultures foods. Reasonably priced entrance fees and a great day out.

Had a wonderful time in the park lots to do and see . only had time to do some of the rides. Definitely need a few days here to get around it all . Lots of walking. felt very safe and friendly. Went back one evening to ferrari land and that was good . We had late evening meal at the sports dinner next to the entrance and the food was very good. And we walked back into town after it took about 15 minutes.

Incredible park with amazing thrill rides.
Food prices in the park are fantastic! I'm used to the extortionate prices in UK parks and Florida parks, so this was so refreshing to see! Only improve would be refillable cups that can be self filled at stations.
Very clean and helpful staff. Loved our time here and would definitely return.

Been here 15 years ago and it was brilliant then. Here again and its been absolutely amazing!!! The park is so good with something for everyone. Lucky for us, we caught the Halloween 🎃 theme and parade this time.

Greatest Theme Park in Spain, and one of the top in Europe imo. Great variety of attractions for all ages and thrills. Today's park operations went smoothly despite the high wind conditions. Not many stoppages and high waiting times. On average I reckon there was like 45 min of wait time, much less during the evening and much more in the morning.

A good range of food choices with ranging prices for a main dish from 8€ to 18€, depending on table service, autoservice or fast pickup stalls and food type. Not the cheapest place to have a meal but for a theme park very adequate prices.

Amazing theme park! Great shows, attractions and food! Staff can sometimes let it down, unfortunately!
We went for 3 days (myself and fiancée) and had plenty to do and see! The app is also great for planning ahead with shows!

Awesome place, queues not too bad. Just a shame there's so much stuff to do in a day and as we came to the area from a cruise ship we had to leave that day.The wife and I are looking at booking another holiday here just a weekend break as its bigger than Eurodisney, much cheaper, and there are so excellent rollercoasters.

Just spent a couple of days here. This is an amazing park, albeit the queues at certain times can be a little exhausting, especially in the heat of the sun. We opted to spend the money on the fast track passes so that we didn't spend most of our days in the queue and we had no regrets. We managed all the large rides with the max wait time of 10minutes whilst the main queue was sitting at over an hour. This is a must if you gonon a busy day and want to make the most of it, yes it cost more but if you make the most of it during your day it balances itself put and we did. You do alot of walking about this park but there are outlets for food and drink everywhere and as any themepark the cost is a little steep for food and drinks, they could do with free water refill stations about the park as I did see one but it was operational. They have many shows throughout the park which if you can fit them in it is recommend as these are brilliant. We love the bird show and the bang bang west along with the Polynesian evening fire show. The evening park show on the lake is still great and a must watch at least once whilst visiting. If its a hot day and you fancy getting a little (or alot) wet get on the River Flume and Tutuki spalsh as these do not dissapoint.

We have visited here now six times and each time we have a great time. The prices are very reasonable and there is a multitude of attractions for everyone in your group. I am a fan of rollercoasters and they have some really cool ones here, each with their own little thing which sets them apart from the others. For the first time we went to the live shows and I was well impressed with these as well. We will definitely be back again as in my opinion it's on the same level as Disney Paris, but with more reasonable prices.

We went there already a couple of times with the whole family and it was amazing! We had a lot of fun. There are attractions for every age. Kids have to pass a certain height before entering. Depending on the day there might be huge lines. So it's recommended to either go to less frequent days or by a fast lane pass before.

Love it here! Brilliant big park with lots to do! Although Shambala was closed for 4 days, managed to ride it on the Sunday. Also it rained heavily and all the outside rides close, so beware.

One of the best parks in Europe. The only gripe I have with PortAventura is the operations on coasters; it can take forever. Coupled with the constant queue jumping, fast passes are a necessity to fully enjoy the park.

Great day out with plenty to do. Food is reasonably priced and was very tasty. Last time I came was in 1998 so has changed quite a bit but still a great day we had.

Because we love it so much, we went 3 times the last two years, twice during Halloween season, this last time during Christmas season. We had in general wonderful days there.

Parks: the attractions, decorations and shows are in general great! We love them!
Just don’t go on weekends unless you are prepared to pay for the Express passes for the whole family, same price for kids, which makes an expensive day. The busier the day is, the more the express pass costs.
Go during the weekdays outside school holidays if at all possible. It’s then quite empty and one would wait 10mn at most for the top attractions and could attend any show entering right before the start. On weekends and holidays, you have to queue very long for attractions, and the Express passes won’t save you long waits for food or missing shows because they are full 30mn before they start.
The decorations throughout the park for Halloween and Christmas are really amazing. The evening parades, light shows and fireworks are crazy busy, so make sure to arrive at the lake early enough to be able to see something. They are totally worth the early arrival and little wait!

Food: we went to la Cantina for the lunch shows. Cooked food is not very good, salads/nachos/desserts are good. The shows and room temperature justify having lunch there in cold seasons.
We also tried the poke bowls at the Tahitian corner, that was much better than La Cantina food.

Staff: most are wonderful, very nice, friendly, and make you safe for the rides. A few guys are clearly tired of their job, rude and treat you like cattle, like the guy at the Tren de la mina on 20/12. Worse on that day, one guy with a beard at Uncharted was even abusive and refused my son to do the attraction while he was over the 1.30m ruler half of the times because the floor was uneven. My son who cried a lot because of that, could then go on all the other attractions with the 1.30m limit, like the Kontiki boat or Serpiente Emplumada. Give a little power to a simple guy, he will become a tyrant…

Hotels: We tried two hotels, Portaventura and Gold River. While Gold River buildings make an incredible western town, the hotel rooms and main restaurant are much more basic than the Portaventura hotel. We recommend the Portaventura hotel. The breakfast/dinner buffets are the same in both hotels, very good food and variety, but the buffet restaurant in PA is much nicer with a veranda and windows, with views over fountains and pools.

We definitely go back… on a week day 😁

Tikets bought there were more expensive than online, but it wasn't advetrised anywhere, been at the beggining of december during weekdays, almost no queues, but lots of smaller shops/attractions were closed.

Hands down the best theme park I have ever been to! Spent the whole day here. Had a few long waits for rides as it was a busy time of year but nothing over 45mins. If you love your thrill rides - highly recommend coming here.

A really nice amusement park. With beautiful nature.

The rides are great, but the older ones are getting a bit rough.

Staff is friendly, but operations a bit slow.

One of the best amusement parks on the world, just incredible. The park is huge and inside there are different parts of the world ( Mediterranean, china, far west, Mexico, Polynesia…) each part is decorated by the theme until you can belive you are there. Gardens, decorations, music… all the facts are good coordinated.
About the attractions you can find everything, for exempla if you go with kids you could find a lot of attractions, shows, restaurants designed for them. However if you are an adult and just want to have fun you could find attractions for you. If you love adventure, you could find ones of the most fast and higher attractions on the world.
I like adventure so I recommend shambala, dragon khan, furious baco and red fort (from ferrariland).
If you like water attractions or the weather is so war you can go to silver river or tutuki splash, these two are the best by my opinion. There is a aquatic park in port aventura.
For the children actually I don’t know but there is a place in the park, the name is Sesamo adventure and I think it have to be incredible for the kids.
About shows every show is special I recommend you watch all of them if you have time, but if you don’t enough time bubbles shows and birds shows are the best and the show of china are amazing. Also the finale show in the lake are amazing.
