Hotel Blaumar

Initially we were planning to stay at a different hotel, which was a lot cheaper, but ~900 meters away from the beach. But then we decided it is worth paying ~30% more for the location and renovated rooms. We are happy we made this decision!
It was one of our best family holidays, as nearly everything was perfect. The weather helped a lot.
Dinners were amazing all week. Though I was really hoping to enjoy that fantastic duck and mushroom risotto at least on one more evening.
We also appreciate the swimming pool. Whoever thought of it, it was a brilliant idea to have those mini peninsulas with the palms. It separates the pool into multiple areas and creates additional privacy. It feels a lot more spacious than it is. It's a lot better than having just one big square pool. Kudos to the architect!
We will happily recommend your hotel and return to it whenever possible!

My partner has mobility difficulties but found the hotel really accessible. We also enjoyed the food in Arena and the atmosphere for an after dinner drink. The live music was good too. Easy access to other parts of town and bus stops, the promenade etc.

I will visit You again during the summertime. Loved the place and localization of hotel.
There is close to Barcelona and sea temperature was great.

I love that staying in Blaumar hotel was just very pleasant even if that was business trip.
Breakfasts was very tasty, and I had a lot of hard choices to make. This was one of the biggest advantages of this hotel.
Room was clean, very big and it was please to spend time there.

We enjoyed every moment in the hotel and Salou.
All the staff members are very professional, helpful and efficient.
The food is delicious and of excellent quality. Manchego and champagne for breakfast - You don't need more ;-)

The hotel building, rooms, and all facilities available to guests are practical, outstanding clean, and easily accessible to people with different needs or disabilities. Location - You could not dream of a better ;-)

I rate the whole experience as - OUTSTANDING GOOD.

We stayed here in April and I was so surprised with the rooms. The beds are massive and comfortable and spotless!
The hotel was lovely and beautiful, top notch pool area and the SPA, don't leave without a massage!!!
The location was ideal, close to alot but in a quiet area.
Breakfast every morning is a 10/10 and lots of vegan options too.
We had tapas one night and it was enjoyable, a few more vegan options would be preferable but it's Tapas, so my partner who is vegan understood. 😀

We stayed at Blaumar for 2 weeks as a family of 3 on the top floor Mediterranean suite. Everything about our stay was great except that the floors in our room were not the cleanest. We asked the front desk several times to have our floors cleaned which they did but the method of cleaning did not yield a good result. We understand that the hotel runs on an environment conscious concept but the cleaning needs to be improved.

Hotel Blaumar is CONGRATULATIONS with the service provided. My husband and I were satisfied with everything! Quick service, very clean room, wonderful breakfast, helpful staff. The hotel is close to everything. Without a doubt, we will return but next time we will take our children, the hotel also has attractions for children! Everything perfect! Gratitude!

I really liked the hotel, great location, comfortable rooms, delicious food. The evening activities of the children's club are very interesting. Thanks for this.
Cons: it was impossible to use the air conditioner due to the terrible smell. Please clean.
Bed linen was changed once in 11 days. The sand makes it difficult to sleep. As a suggestion, have a broom and dustpan readily available so that you can sweep the floor in your room yourself.
A children's disco in the mini club would also be great.

Great hotel. Rooms and the whole hotel itself are mostly renovated and modernised. Facilities very good. We were in a club suite with sea view. Beautiful view from the private terrace. Two sun loungers, two chairs with table are available. Sunshade can be extended.

Buffet in the evening is also recommended.

Had a very pleasant stay in Blaumar. Its location was a very short walk from the plana bus we got from Barcelona. It’s located in a more private and quieter area of Salou across from the main beach. Hotel is surrounded my cafes and restaurants with PortaVentura Park a 25 min walk away. Hotel itself was a luxury to stay in with daily housekeeping and plenty of services on site. Pool area was great with towels provided upon request. Rooms were very comfy and amenities included I.e safe and mini fridge. Hotel staff were most friendly. On last day we were able to check out and still use the pool and avail of a shower/ changing facilities due to late flight home. We really got to enjoy the most of the last day which was amazing service by the hotel to facilitate this. Price also was very reasonable (we stayed in October). Can’t recommend this hotel enough! Can’t wait to stay here on my next visit to Salou.

We stayed at the Hotel Blaumar for the second time in a row and were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant area for breakfast and dinner was completely remodeled in winter 2022/2023. The hotel remains innovative and in tune with the times. We like the constant improvements (VR tour) and the environmental concept. The staff is motivated and very friendly. We always enjoy coming to Blaumar.

We have been twice this year and loved it so much the first time we wanted to stay in the penthouse.
Would book a standard room if we return again as felt much nicer. More entertainment would be good
Overall a fantastic hotel, staff can't do enough for you.

Really enjoyed my stay
Especially as a solo traveler. Staff were amazing and loved my room and felt safe 100% of the time.
Only thing I'd change is getting a massage and air con for the gym. The spa due to hygiene as masseuse was blowing her nose during treatment. She also left door open while I was exposed on massage table when went to help someone at spa reception. Also communication of opening times of spa and gym, as didn't realise both were closed Sunday and Monday

Cannot wait to come back again though as loved everything else.

Surprisingly good hotel in great location in Salou. Excellent staff and food. The tapas and wine offerings in the Arena restaurant were outstanding and some of the best we've ever tasted anywhere in Spain. The decor of the hotel wouldn't be to our liking but that is just a personal, subjective thing as we don't like the 'minimalist' look that a lot of Germans go for but that wasn't an issue as such. We found the furniture in the room — i.e. the bed and the chairs — to be uncomfortable and probably chosen for their aesthetic rather than for their functionality.

Travelled as a family but all adults. We had booked two rooms as a package holiday through Love Holidays. Upon arrival, I asked the Receptionist if one of the rooms could be a twin bed rather than a double, the Receptionist helpfully searched to see if one was available, which there was but she questioned that as it was a smaller room, would this be acceptable? In fact, both rooms were spacious and well presented with a large balcony area, one of which overlooked the pool area. One room wasn't quite ready but we were given keys to the one which was ready and given instructions about their towel and cleaning systems, the pool towel and buffet breakfast system.
Our booking included a buffet breakfast each morning. There was a note in the lift letting your know what times were busy and although it meant getting up a little earlier (8.30 am), this was not a problem and well worth it. The breakfast room was quite large and well laid out. We found the breakfast to be both plentiful and a large choice available. You could eat as much as you wanted and there were hot drinks machines, so could help yourself to coffee and teas too. Prosecco, fruit juices and various milks were also available. The breakfast options included continental meats and cheeses, cereals, yogurts, variety of sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, pastries, fruit, dried fruit and nuts, jams, bread and rolls, toast, freshly made omelettes, pancakes and churros. We were quite impressed with the choice available. The breakfast room also served lunch and an evening meal but we had not booked that option. Everything looked fresh and well presented. A slight criticism would be that the hot food was not always very warm. Although the breakfast room was quite large, there could be small queues waiting to be seated for breakfast depending on the time you arrived for breakfast and I can imagine at the height of the season these may be a little longer but we did not have a problem and were seated almost immediately each day.
I felt the pool area looked classy, with sliding shades over some of the loungers on a raised decked area and the pool area was always clean, with plenty of loungers. There was a pool side bar serving drinks but only had a very limited selection of food available. There were various activities arranged during the daytime and entertainment put on in the evening but we did not really make use of these facilities.
Overall I enjoyed my weeks stay at this hotel, it is in a great location in Salou, with great facilities, clean, comfortable and probably one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in, with a lovely pool and surrounding area. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to both families with young children and the maturer adult.

The Bluamar is a good quality 4 star hotel, which caters for couples, family's and holidays with friends, really well. It's one of the best I've stayed in on a package deal, with only one other on the same scale in Tenerife. I will book again, it's was dearer than another 4 star in this part of salou, which I've stayed in, but felt I was well worth the Extra Money 💷

A Lovely Hotel. I am just back after 5 days away with my teenage daughter. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. It's very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, when ever I needed something, they went out of their way to assist. The food offerings were great each day. I booked half board, and I would definitely rebook this hotel again.

Lovely hotels rooms are spotless, clean, and very spacious. Staff were all very helpful. Location is close to beach however a long walk to the bars.

Excellent hotel, located across the beach, family friendly, spacious and clean room, good variety breakfast/dinner buffet on a daily base, friendly personnel and great service and facilities. It made our vacation memorable.

It was an exceptional and excellent experience while staying with you at Blaumar .
The location was ideal for family .
The Hotel , Staff, food , layout , rooms etc , were , so exceptional and was of great joy to all of us .
