Very good tapas food, stumped on this little gem while strolling through Madrid.
The food here is cheap and homemade, it has a lot of flavors for that reason I highly recommend it.
I had lunch here at 16h30, thinking it would be too late to eat. 2 tapas was enough to satisfy my Hunger.

I popped in for a cheap dinner after sightseeing nearby. Service was great and friendly. The server spoke good English and gave good tapas suggestions. The food was good and of an acceptable price for the area. No complaints from me, I was a happy diner.

Wonderful dinner! My sister and I stopped in on a Sunday evening and got great service and delicious food at a very reasonable price. I had the No. 4 (Steak and Eggs), which was absolutely delicious.

Friendly service. Very good paella & grilled prawns. Good value.

Gorgeous opportunity if you are seeking a place to eat with the residents and rather avoid common tourist places. They have different daily menu every day, with drink + coffee afterwards. The serving is also very nice with lovely staff! I can just recommend it!

Gazpacho is excellent and not spicy. Cuban sandwich lacks pickles but it’s delicious with the open egg stuffing. We enjoyed sausage and egg while people watching in the plaza. Very nice place to relax.

This place is pretty awesome! I had tapas and sangria. 12.5 euros in total. Where did all the food go?

Simple Iberian ham sandwich and beer was right for a light lunch.

Came here for breakfast every day during my week long stay in Madrid and couldn’t rate highly enough! I was surprised how much you get for what you pay, breakfast, coffee and fresh orange juice for only €3.50, unheard of in the UK, and very tasty on top of that! Very friendly staff too, they remembered us and knew our order after the 2nd and 3rd visit, couldn’t rate more!

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. People should understand the tapas culture before leaving negative reviews.

If you want tapas which are cheaper then you can get them at the bar but if you sit outside then its table service and you get ‘racion” which is a bigger portion. Food was great and reasonably priced. It is NOT a tourist trap. Plenty of locals sat, ate and drank.

Again, tourists who do not understand the culture should not be leaving bad reviews.

Thought I’d post a review as the 3.7 rating almost put me off… but it completely doesn’t reflect this restaurant! I’ve lived round the corner for 18 months and wish I’d tried it sooner. Great place for some simple tapas in the sun, good service and lovely staff :)

Local restaurant with tasty daily menu. Make sure you ask to be seated inside and you order the daily menu (cheaper and better than à la carte). The staff do not speak English, but it's worth the struggle.

We realy enjoyed this restaurant. They have a very large selection of dishes that being freshly made. You get to choose if you want a tspas size or a full portion. We tried so many things and had some beers. We paid about 60 Euros for a party of 4. The area is La Latina and its very local and young.

Very helpful staff. Delicious gaspacho. Nice outside tables. Also tried their chicken plate came with fried eggs, salad, French fries and bread. It was nice. They were open when the restaurants all closed between 3 and 8.

The menu del dia (of the day) is a great value for the money. You get a first and second dish of authentic local food as well as a glass of wine, bread and dessert. It's very filling (for 11 euro as of Nov 2019). We were the only English speakers there at a busy time and the staff still tried very hard to help us understand the options.

Don't be intimidated by this place, particularly if you step inside as we did and then ended up here most evenings for a nightcap. It's also cheaper inside. Some great tapa, including to our suprise pork scratchings, cheap brandy and very friendly staff if you make the effort and meet them halfway. Great coffee and breakfast too.

12 euros for bread, beer and 2 plates plus dessert; good food and good service

I totally enjoyed the meal we had-padron peppers, chuleton and grilled sepia. Inexpensive, the waiters were friendly and the food was excelent.

Have the breakfast of "tostada con tomate" on their terraza!
