Delicious, traditional,
Riojas cooking served in a pleasant atmosphere with kind, attentive staff. Ruth helped us decipher the menu and her recommendations were terrific. The lamb chops brought to the table on a smoking brazier are a must-have as is another house special, menestra-- a "vegetable stew" that isn't pretty but sure is tasty! Just about every table in the restaurant had these dishes on both of our visits. The cod in the Riojana style and the solomillo de ternera (steak) also were awesome. Bring your appetite-- servings are generous and meant to share. Be sure to book-- this place is always full and they only serve lunch, but what a lunch it is! You may not even want dinner afterward.

Excellent service .. great lamb chops and more amazing house wine . The desserts were not on our taste and the tomato salad could have been more fresh

Restaurante de comida Casera muy buena. Raciones abundantes, trato excepcional como en casa. Los fines de semana no hay menú pero los precios son muy buenos para la calidad del producto. Recomendable la menestra rebozada, las alubias y las chuletas de cordero al Sarmiento. Imprescindible reservar.

Restaurante de ambiente familiar, un buen sitio donde comer platos hechos con un cariño que se nota en el resultado final. Ojalá no estar de paso para poder repetir ése plato de callos.

La camarera que nos atendió un encanto! La menestra es un auténtico espectáculo, siendo su plato estrella. Las chuletillas al Sarmiento tenían un sabor buenísimo. Recomendable 100%.

Desayuno de 10. Zumo recién hecho. Huevos camperos, tostada con mermelada de melocotón hecha por las dueñas. Todo un acierto. El precio acorde a los productos utilizados con lo cual merece mucho la pena. Nos dijeron que para comer era un sitio estupendo pero no nos dio tiempo de probarlo. Eso si para comer nos dijeron que había que reservar. Parece que al estar en un pueblo tan pequeño no se llena, pero no es así. Súper recomendable y precios asequibles.
