Had the menu of the day here just as we came into the town. Really good. Fresh and good selection. Enjoyed it so much came back later for dinner. It was just as good for a second time. Loved the cheesecake

Highly recommend! Our best experience among all the hostel on Camino. Best menu with affordable price and friendly service. Clean bed and enough space for tall people. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. You will love here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very warm welcome, great facilities, wonderfully clean and well appointed. The pilgrim's menu was amazingly good value with fabulous food and excellent service. Some excellent menu options, beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend Albergue Ultreia.

Only went for dinner but the food here in phenomenal - best food we’ve had on the Camino for weeks - and for very cheap too. The staff are lovely and the pilgrims menu was incredible! Please don’t miss this if you are in Arzua

Best meal I’ve had since starting the Camino in O Cebreiro. Had the menú del día with a delicious mango and apple salad, cod with potatoes and squash, and a strawberry topped crepe for only 13e.

I didn't stay at the albergue I only ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing, one of the best pilgrim menus of all of the Camino. It was inexpensive, delicious and plentiful what more can you ask for? Also the service is good. They get very busy so plan ahead. Desert is a must.

The best pilgrims menu we have had. Simply 3 great courses, wine and bread for only 13 euro.

The best food we had on the Camino. The salad with cheese was so fresh and incredible. The crispy chicken tenders were also delicious. Can't believe we lucked into stumbling on this place completely by chance.

We didn't stay in the Albergue BUT we ate at the restaurant and it was worth MORE than 5 stars! The service was perfect: friendly, helpful, genuine smile. The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned, tender. We were blown away with the salad! It just kept getting better as the dishes came out. We had the pilgrim menu and even though I was the only one to choose wine (the others had coffee) I was given a full bottle to enjoy (although I didn't finish it, I liked that I could!). I can not compliment the food, service and establishment enough. This is a must! THANK YOU Albergue Ultreia for the best pilgrim meal in all of the camino!

My guest house owner recommended me this restaurant like her first choice for delicious food and reasonable prices. And she was right. I had the dinner and I had the most fresh dorada and pulpo, delicious cooked and in few min served. The ladies work with smile, very fast and the atmosphere is young and beautiful. Highly recommend.

Great dorms with suitable separations between the beds. Staff are great. Small kitchen but enough for a quick cook. Large common room downstairs.

An incredible find for lunch after our hike today. Delicious salad, and chicken with a wonderful Sangria. Service was also quite good.

We stopped only for lunch but I'm pleased we did. The outside seating is an upgrade from the usual plastic chairs & tables and sits right on the Camino.

The menu provides a more diverse array than others experienced, especially for vegetarians and vegans. The food is also very well priced as are the drinks - I would recommend a glass of their Sangria.

The salads are delicious (but note the honey dressing is incredibly sweet!) The puddings are good, the chocolate "coulant" in particular is very tasty.

So be prepared to be satisfied and well fed.

Staying in this albergue is such a treat - although I was in a dorm room, I felt like I was staying in a hotel for the night. The bathrooms and showers are beautiful, there's nice chairs around to sit in, the wifi works very well, the beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a delicious restaurant in the front with great food and delicious vegan options. Thank you so much for everything!

One of the best albergues during Santiago. Place is sparkling clean, with a lot of small accents to make you feel like home. Comfortable beds with clean sheets and blankets. Power socket and lamp for every bed. They are offering spin dry free of charge and outside area to dry your clothes. Albergue has a little but well equipped kitchen, dining area and lovely place to sit outside.

A great find! Modern groovy place to stay along the Camino. Lovely hosts, modern facilities and an outdoor area to have your Sangria. The Pilgrim Meal was from the normal menu, and the chef is obviously showing off! Beautiful quality tasty dishes that you would expect in a restaurant, not a Albergue! Best meals we had on the whole trip! Downside? Large communal bunk bed area for sleeping, but many Albergues are like that, so it's not a negative point really. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous cafe! The Ultreia Salad is the best salad I’ve ever had, as well, as having a great lasagne. The desserts were stunning and the staff were extremely pleasant. Best place we stop for food during our whole Camino experience.
