The Garden Restaurant / Restaurante El Jardín

Had the best dinner of our trip to the area here. The food was very very good - such nice combinations, taste and cooked very well. The atmosphere was nice. View is lovely, tables have plenty of space in between, so you don’t get disturbed by other people’s conversations.
The staff was friendly and always available to help.

We booked a table for the same day and got a confirmation via email in a short time.

We will return for sure next time we are in the South of Spain. If anything, the Blondie with ice cream dessert is a must try!

Lovely balance of spices and herbs in delicious vegetarian foods. We had courgette fritters, beetroot curry and fried goats cheese salad. Afters were wonderful too. Open only at lunchtime with views over the town. Staff were very welcoming and friendly 😊

This is one best restaurants we've been in this zone. The food was amazing, lots of flavors and a great view. Service was excellent as well.

Had an amazing meal and as others have said, the view is stunning. We started with the Chorizo sausage and chicken salad. The Chorizo combination of flavours was delicious. The chicken salad was also very flavourful and was meal sized. We shared the burger and curry and both were excellent. Our server was very good, but it seemed to me they were understaffed as he had a lot of tables he was looking after so he was constantly on the move. As with many nice restaurants we have visited in Spain, they use paper napkins rather than cloth - a pet peeve of mine and especially in a country that has such fine linens readily available.

We visited this restaurant twice during our weeks stay in Frigiliana because the views are gorgeous and the food is delicious. Great food and drink for very reasonable prices.
First visit we walked in and although busy, we managed to get a seat with great views. Second visit we booked in advance to ensure that we got a table, the restaurant is almost always full so this is recommended.
Service is great and we waited no more than 20 minutes for our food to be brought out. Absolutely no criticism on the standard of food as the presentation and taste were impeccable.
Although busy, the restaurant has a very nice vibe and was never overcrowded making the meal feel very personal to each table.
All in all, the ascent to the garden restaurant is scenic but tough and well worth it for the food and views (I was 34 weeks pregnant and managed ok).
Also if you are a fan of cats, there are two friendly cats that roam the grounds and are always happy for a fuss.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Frigiliana. The view is beautiful and the staff are always really friendly. The mojito cocktail is one of the best I’ve had there. The food is really good with a lot of options on the menu, and the portions are quite large. Make sure to book in advance as it’s generally busy.

Lovely restaurant, with amazing views over Frigiliana and down to the sea. Food was really delicious too. Quite a trek up a lot of steps to get there from the bottom of the town where you can park, but well worth it. If you are old and unfit like me, you will need to take your time and take plenty of rests on the way, but it is definitely worth the effort when you get there. The restaurant is also dog friendly so you can take your furry friends with you.

Absolutely loved the place, the views and the food. We tried a vegetarian dish Curry De Remolcha which had all the right flavours to mix up indian and morrocon food!

And for desert the tarta de queso cheesecake. The flavours were just as perfect as they can get. An absolute must if you are visiting Frigiliana!!

The best part of this restaurant is the panorama view. At the same time, it didn’t influence the prices for the fairly delicious food. Don’t forget to ask for olives and bread - they are great here! The cocktail was soooo nice as well! Polite, nice and friendly service with fluent English. Dishes and glasses were clean with cool design. Kids menu exists here, even with humble range of dishes. Really wonderful place to visit.

Absolutely love the garden for its delicious food, lovely chilled atmosphere and amazing views over Frigiliana. The staff are always super friendly, the courgette fritters and Iberian pork are my absolute favourites, but there’s so many lovely dishes it’s always best to share :) such a lovely treat, can’t wait to go back (and forgot to take pics as we were having such a good time…)

Worth travelling to Frigiliana just for this restaurant. The rare combination of superb food served in a spectacular location by excellent friendly staff. Highly recommended. We can't wait to go back

Probably the best food we have had in Andalucia. Beautiful location with a view of the mountains and Frigiliana, great service and amazing food. Can't recommend it enough!

one of my favorite meals during my week in frigiliana. i had the most refreshing and delicious salad; the flavors were sophisticated and satisfying. the ambiance is gorgeous and relaxing. i came here after hiking around the area. won’t forget my meal here.

It was around lunch time (it was during weekend) and many of the places were closed and we randomly came across this restaurant. It was a very sunny summer (I repeat, extremely sunny with extreme heat) and we needed some shade, and this place was the perfect opened restaurant. We didn’t expect much, tbh, but it was great! Oh yeah, and the view is amazing :-)

Incredible views across new and old town Frigiliana. The food and service here feels like it is "up a level" from anywhere else. Great staff, very knowledgeable and beautiful presentation and flavours in the food.
A lot of Arabic flavours and spices made sure the menu was one of the most varied and exciting.
Walking up the steps through the history of this famous Spanish town to enjoy this fabulous restaurant made for a fantastic experience

Exquisite Middle-Eastern dishes served in a fairy-tale setting overlooking the gorgeous white Andalusian village of Frigiliana. The baked goat cheese salad and the Moroccan lamb were indulgent!

Really interesting menu choices. A range of different flavours. Langoustines and Courgette fritters to start were delicious. The burgers are served medium and are juicy for it. Views could be fabulous but the mist was in for our visit.
