Lovely village.
I've driven through so many times I didn't realise what I was missing in these charming back streets. The Gastrobar is relaxed and in a quiet spot. Loved it ☺

Great bar, restaurant especially for tapas. Real Spanish atmosphere, very friendly personnel. And on an absolut beautiful location. Take time to make a little stroll through the village, it has marvellous wall paintings. Also walk up pass the gastrobar to the cemetery. Its beautifull and the views over the valley are stunning. Highly recommended.

Great food, atmosphere and beautiful surroundings

We stopped here and had a look round. It's a typical Spanish village. The house's are old and quaint. The cafe was in the square were you can get food or just a drink. Really enjoyed looking at the village and the sites and is worth visiting.

Great cafe con leche and location and today he smiled, result and full english ! !

Amazing food and service, in a secluded and charming village, plenty of flowers. Located in the "Plaza Mayor". It was like being in "Allo Allo" with René.
Nice atmosphere, almost homely, relaxed and welcoming. The service was very friendly, profesional and efficient ( Thank you to Dani, Xabia's first-choice goalkeeper, Anto in the kitchen and Sandra). We were greeted and seated promptly and our drinks and food were ordered and delivered without delay.
Try "Pilotes", "Albondigas" or "Aspencat", just delicious. Wines from Rioja or Ribera and also the highly acclaimed Chateaux d'Almansa ¡¡¡¡¡Gorgeous¡¡¡¡¡.
Olives from a local farmer who make the brine with oregano (local herb), lemon and rosemary, and fried peanuts home made with olive oil from the surroundings mountains of Alicante, and "cold meat" locally made from Anto's mother grocery in LLiber. Delicious
Definitely and in a nutshell: ¡ best bar/restaurant around¡. DO NOT MISS IT.

This is a very nice bar which is always on our list to visit when we come to Spain. Tapas are great and the beer is cold. :)
