In the words of the Michelin man - Excellent food that is worth a detour. Everything on the menu was delicious, in particular the Partridge which paired very well with the Vall Llach Idus which is available by the glass

The manager is a good laugh and took the time to walk us through the food / wine options in detail.

Go out of your way to eat here, if need be! Make sure to make a reservation and be prepared for a Catalan menu, which the owner will take care to explain to you in English. This was a unique experience in that it is both authentic, local foods, simple in decoration and ambiance fitting with Priorat, the staff are easy-going, delighted and proud to share their creations and wines. The food is excellent. Balanced in flavours, portion-size, variety of options, freshness, presentation, excellent!

This is a family business. The owners, a very friendly couple, are very attentive and make the environment very cozy. The meals are well prepared and delicious. They use local and sustainable ingredients. Wines? There you are at Priorat! Good wines!

OK, so maybe a little off the beaten path, but like most fun and interesting places it's well worth the effort. The food is really well prepared using local farmers' products. Taste, presentation, and overall service is superb.

My family, friends and I discovered this outstanding, gem of a restaurant while trying to find an open winery in the area. Unable to find a winery, we decided to have a late lunch. We stumbled upon this charming restaurant with its kind, attentive, generous owners. They offered excellent food recommendations and gave us an ad hoc tasting of a variety of local wines. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the couple made sure that the children with our group both had enough to eat and enjoyed it.
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

Our favorite restaurant in el Priorat. When we come up from Barcelona, they give us the corner table for us and our dog and treat us like kings. They are lovely, as is the food here++

I eat here probably far more than I should but the dishes are excellent, spruced up takes on classic Catalan dishes which are superb. Also a must-try if it's on the menu is the fricandó. Very easily one of the best wine lists in the region and definitely the best in the village by leagues. Delightful bo ho store to the interior that's welcoming as well as pleasing.

Our lunch was excellent. A leek flan was especially good although we were sure it was made with artichokes. One of our favorites on trip to Catalunya.

What a discovery! Stop here for a very traditional, Catalan, home cooked meals. Fresh, seasonal, delicious! And their wine list is impressive. Do ask for recommendation, the owner will be more than excited to help you.
