Chiquita Restaurante

Went to the square on my first day in Madrid and stumbled upon this little tapas restaurant with outdoor seating. There were already customers with their food and drinks and the steak with potatoes and pepper pedron caught my eyes so I had to indulge myself with that too. I ordered my favorite calamari, so thickly cut and freshly served with a drizzle of lemon juice. The chorizo sausages were so thoroughly cooked with the juice in the plate perfect as a dipping sauce for the potato Bravas. Excellent way to kick start my trip in the capital. Will go back again for some paella some time

Just arrived in Madrid and looking for somewhere nice and authentic to dine. Wandered around and found this inviting little place. Service and food was great and the atmosphere perfect.

When in Madrid you can not miss the opportunity to visit and enjoy this gem of a place. The food is so delicious it’s very hard to stop eating, everything we ordered was very rich and succulent. Our waiters were so friendly and funny, we really had a great time! We actually ended up going twice in a week!!! And the second time was as amazing as the first!!!!

Fantastic place to eat and drink on the edge of Plaza Mayor. Fabiola was exceptional and lovely to talk to its a must try bar not just for breakfast but for afternoon drinks to watch the world go by! PS house wine is the best !!!

The ambience and service were perfect!! Our waitress, Shirley, was delightful, friendly and attentive. The paella was a little dried out but great flavors. We’ll be back. The champagne sangria was out of this world!!!

I eat here with my girlfriend as much as I possibly can. This place has a great menu, and menu full of variety for all diet types. Indoor or outdoor provided a great atmosphere. Good service, and even better quality of food.

My first trip to Spain/Madrid, found Chiquita while exploring the city on our first day. Wound up eating there several times for breakfast and lunch. Everything was great and by far the best orange juice. Staff was so nice to us.
We tried many many places in Madrid but Chiquita felt like “our spot”.

The food was some of the best I’ve had in Madrid! We appreciated the tasty drinks that were well mixed and generous proportions. I would highly recommend trying this nice “Chaquita” restaurante !!!
