Arranged a dinner here for a large group of friends and the service and hospitality from the staff was fantastic. They took their time to recommend dishes for the group (all of which were excellent), everything was good value, and there was a great vibe in the restaurant too. Would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to arrange a dinner in Madrid for a large group of people.

Cute little place, very welcoming, great hosts. The food - I had croquettes, chicken and cod - is tasty. They offer a selection of smaller bites, perfect for a small dinner sided with a glass of wine. I had a wonderful time and I would definitely eat here again.

Taberna del Chapo is agreat Tapas Bar in Madrid. They serve their dishes in a original and innovative way. Looks good! The food is really cheap so you can order all across the menu! Also the selfmade Sangria is delicious. The hosts were very friendly. Would come again anytime!

Staff was really friendly and it has a great atmosphere! It was our first night & tapas bar in Madrid and we absolutely loved it!! :) We ordered all different tapas and they are all tasty! They have menu in English.

Great place with an extremely friendly staff that speaks English. The food was of excellent quality and for a very good price. We wanted to try a bunch of dishes and ate until we were full and was still surprised at how reasonably low the bill was. They also open at 7pm/19:00 so for the tourists who need to get some rest before an early start the next day, it's a perfect spot for tapas.

Delicious small dishes served in an original way. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The dishes are small but also very cheap so make sure to order a few.
There is also an address of the same restaurant a bit further in the street at number 8 which is a bit larger.

Great selection of small bites at very reasonable prices, which can be difficult to find in Madrid. The staff was extremely nice and helpful even though my Spanish was muy malo. Highly recommend!

Talberna del Chato is a small tapas bar in Madrid offering a variety of unique and tasty dishes. In our past experience, we walked in and seated immediately at the bar prior to the dinner time rush. The friendly owner enthusiastically gave us his suggestions. The dishes came shortly in small glass containers that were neatly arranged.

We ordered a menu for two, including prawn nests, crispy chicken, partridge pate, seafood salad, mojo sauced potato, and our choice of salmorejo and sirloin on fries. It even came with sangria for two, so it was great value for the price. The chicken, salmorejo and potato were very well-seasoned by the chef, and we enjoyed all of the menu dishes. We even tried the fresh beef tartar for the first time, which fortunately came with bread to paste it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this tapas bar, which felt more attentive, unique and less rushed compared to many of those we tried in busy Barcelona. The owner also happily took a photo for us with our food.

Cozy modern, tapas bar, very pleasant to take one glass of wine last night, stake tartar was good(when we order he asked how spicy we'd like to), dessert natas(it was great)less heavier than the one bought at Mercadona. I like less the small humbuger.
It wasn't too crowded, pleasant staffs, clean & modern food. We had a good time to finish our bar tour.

We booked at their sister restaurant (up the street) and they redirected us to this new spinoff. Great food, good prices! Would definitely come again

Delicious unique tapas. Patatas Al cabrales and fried chicken were delicious. The Peyton's are smaller so you can try a variety of different dishes.

Super inexpensive, we paid 30 euros for 2 people. Wine was around 2.50 per glass. Get as many tapas as you can, the mussel croquettes were really unique and were our favorite. Their custard was also great Our waiter was amazing, surprised us with a free starter, and never kept us waiting. The resteraunt as a whole was unqiue and a 10/10 experience

Absolutely incredible! We stumbled upon this place while walking to the Puerto del sol. Lucky we did because we ended up going back three nights in a row! It was that good.

My wife and I ate here on a anniversary trip to Madrid. The staff was very friendly and helpful (English speaking). We only did tapas and beer (for me) and coke. The dishes were great. My favorite was the Special Pork. Thank you for the friendly service and good food (great price too).

We found this place on Yelp and we thought we'd give it a try. This place was pretty empty but we wanted to relax, have some wine and snacks. This was the perfect spot. Great vibes, friendly staff, and amazing chatos. I wish I took more pictures. I swore I did but I think my husband deleted them by mistake and they are not in my deleted files.... ugh~

Anyhow, the food was really good, the staff was awesome and the whole vibe was perfect. I would love to take my friends here the next time I'm in Madrid.

This place was really amazing! Think tapas but with a fusion of other cultural kitchens. They serve small plates which are perfect for sharing between 2 people. The teriyaki beef with rice was the favorite of the evening, but everything was delicious. Super nice staff too. It gets super busy, and may be difficult to find a seat, but if you can it'll be worth it!
