Restaurante El Albero

We were so lucky to find this restaurant not far from the Toledo old city. It was a superb experience! The food was beyond all expectations. It was delicious and served beautifully. The server was polite and friendly. Even the chef came out to salutate us. This was one of the best experiences of my life! I highly recommend El Albero Restaurante!

What a wonderful and incredible surprise. We visited Toledo for the day and always prioritize a great local meal. The city center is crowded and quite touristic. After much research i discovered El albero. It is outside the city center in a local neighborhood and we can't recommend it enough. It was this balance of incredible service that was also comfortable and welcoming. Two woman ran the dining experience (in the main dining room and terrace) from what we could see - the primary server was one of the most lovely people ever - she helped guide us through the menu and was a pure joy. She was supported by another woman who was equally wonderful - a true team effort.

The food is EXCEPTIONAL. We had the "Russian Salad", Lemon Fish" and "Oxtail" - all incredible, but the Oxtail really stood out as something special. This place is our favorite type of place when we travel. There was no English menu (something we take as a sign of something much more special than one that caters to tourists, and yes there are many great restaurants with menus in English). If you know, you know :)

All i can say is GO. Enjoy. And gracias to everyone at El albero for making the journey worth the effort.

Very good food, very good waitress, the best experience for these week in Spain

Went for our 4th anniversary dinner and it was perfect. Lovely quiet location away from the tourist traps. Amazingly good high quality food, from starter to dessert. Lovely service too. A wonderful lunch time.

Excellent food, well presented, and a good waitress (who, as a bonus, spoke English). We'd go back if we were staying longer in Toledo.

My wife and I were traveling around Spain to celebrate her birthday and we had a great moment at El Albero restaurant. The El Albero associates were super friendly and attentive to explain all the courses of the tasting menu. The food was great and we could enjoy a lot some of the local food and wine, this is a real gem in Toledo and a great place to have great moments. Good relation between quality and cost.

I was in this small gem of a restaurant week ago with my family and i would recommended to anyone visiting Toledo, immaculate services and the fantastic Spanish food with a chef twist, if visiting Toledo again coming back for sure.

Superb vegetarian meal, but they do normal meals too, with the best service by the loveliest Sonia! By far the best meal we have had in our week stay in Spain!!! Just a truly memorable long lunch!

Excellent, I mean excellent food --the best we've had in Spain. Lovely service. Even the music was a cut above. We can't wait to return.

My family and I had an exellent lunch here. It serves very good food with warm service. We ordered stewed ox tail and black inked seafood rice. The ox tail was surperbly done to prefect balance of tenderness and juiciness. The rice was fantastic. Highly recommended.

The best restaurant of Toledo, the food was local and so good, for a spanish wine it was amazing, and the service was excellent and friendly.

Wonderful dinner - super nice host who helped us out in English - very good food in an elegant restaurant setting. We recommend strongly to leave the historical center for this gem!
