Bar Bigot Vell

Just had a Christmas day lunch, really friendly staff with a nice welcome. The food was very tasty and good value. The place was full of local diners and had a good atmosphere. The area is surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Leuk restaurantje. Prima eten voor een nog betere prijs. Als je aan komt ziet het er misschien wat smoezelig uit maar het is binnen brandschoon. Zeker een aanrader.

Secundair rijdend met de auto van Albacete naar Benissa is een feest. Je doorsnijdt het Spaanse landschap vanaf de hoogvlaktes van La Mancha tot het indrukwekkende berggebied ten noorden van Alacant. Op maandag na Tres Reyes zijn veel restaurants in de dorpen gesloten. Maar aan de rand van Castel de Castell troffen we de vriendelijke eigenaar van Bar Bigot Vell die voor ons een Ensalada maakte en vooral een heerlijke verse Merluza in de pan deed. We hebben gesmuld. Heerlijke krokante patatas bravas erbij. Je kunt niet pinnen, dus contant afrekenen. Pinnen kan in het dorp.

Íbamos en bicicleta por las montañas cuando un problema con una bicicleta nos dejó varados en la cima. Bajé a este café como lo habíamos usado un par de días antes y la señora llamó a alguien para que subiera y recogiera a mi amigo y lo trajera de vuelta al café para que pudiéramos transportarnos a Denia. Muchas gracias por su ayuda y definitivamente vendremos la próxima vez que estemos allí.

We were cycling in the mountains when a bike problem left us stranded at the top. I rode down to this cafe as we had used it a couple of days earlier and the lady there called someone to drive up and collect my friend and bring him back to the cafe so we could get transport back to Denia. Massive thank you for your help and we will definitely come in next time we are out there.

Comida mediterránea y casera, gran variedad de tapas, menú del día con varias opciones de carnes y pescado frescos , atención excepcional muy amables y atentos, local tranquilo y acogedor tanto para ir con tu pareja o con la familia, volveremos seguro.

Muy bien, para ser un bar-restaurante de un pueblo pequeño, la comida esta rica y con bastante cantidad, y los postres muy buenos.

Goede eerlijke simpele keuken, typisch spaans van de streek, mooi zonnig terras, openhaard op aanvraag voor terugkerende klanten.

Uno de los sitios mas tranquilos y relajantes en los que he estado, buen servicio y además respirando el aire de la montaña. Genial.

Excelente, calidad de comida y buen trato muy buen lugar para compartir con la familia y amigos.
