VIVOOD Landscape Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Vivood Hotel towards the end of March. The rooms are very intelligently laid out to ensure privacy whilst not compromising on some spectacular views across the valley!

Unfortunately for us our initial flight was cancelled so we missed out on almost a whole day of what was already a very short trip. However, the staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful and it was no bother to check in late and we were greeted in the room by a surprise bottle of wine to make up for the disastrous day we had been having.

We stayed in a room with a hot tub which I'd highly recommend, on arrival the hot tub was not as warm as it should have been so we raised this at reception and and issue was quickly resolved! The rooms are a good size with and incredibly comfortable bed! It's an amazing view to wake up to!

It really is in a fantastic location to have an escape and unwind in nature, with the small castle town just a short walk away and an incredible spa on site.

Particularly thanks to Clara and Edgar who were so welcoming and really looked after us whilst we were there, we would love to return again in the future!

The hotel’s location and facility are breathtaking. The basic room size is small but it is as described in your website. All staff were extremely accommodating. Our son’s and daughter-in-law’s wedding and reception was a magnificent experience. .

We got the opportunity to spend a magical week at this beautiful resort in the middle of nature and wilderness. The entire team of VIVOOD left no stone unturned in making it the most memorable and romantic getaway for me and my partner. From the lovely staff at the reception to the attentive kitchen and restaurant staff to the lovely people driving us across the resort in the buggy. Each and every person of the team became like a family member during our stay and ensured that we are taking care of.

A special thanks for organizing such a lovely romantic private dinner at our villa on our last day there!

The food at this resort is mind blowing. Everything we tried on the menu made us keep coming back for more. They made sure to accommodate my partner’s dietary restrictions and allergies and yet ensured that everything tasted amazing.

The villas are very well appointed and have amazing views and facilities. The spa is so tranquil and all the spa packages and massages were so relaxing and rejuvenating. The lounge area by the pools is beautiful and a great spot to get a tan or just laze around with a nice cocktail. The French influenced restaurant on top of the hill has amazing views and a great menu. Compliments to chef Jaime Villanueva and his team.

It was such an amazing experience that is was hard to say goodbye to the place and the beautiful people of VIVOOD. We can’t wait to be back in the future to relive this amazing experience!

This place is something special. Never have I experienced such a warming welcome with kind and caring staff. From the reception to spa and restaurant staff. They have gone above and beyond to please our stay here at the resort/hotel. I really recommend trying the villas that have the most amazing views and interior.

What a hotel! What a venue! What a team!

We booked in 2022 for our 2024 wedding after falling in love with the views from the venue on Instagram. Throughout this whole two year process Vivood have been attentive, patient and accommodating. No request was too big or difficult for them and at all points in the process we felt listened to and prioritised.

From the minute guests and ourselves arrived on the Thursday we felt like VIPs, every need was catered for with friendliness and professionalism. One of our guests had accessibility issues and all staff remembered the appropriate buggie for her. These seemingly small things made every guest feel noticed and at ease. We cannot speak highly enough of the team at this hotel, they are exceptional and talented.

Our wedding day was perfect, this was in no small part down to Vivood and the staff. The venue is in such a stunning location with breathtaking mountains on one side and views of El Castel de Guadalest on the other.

The staff worked tirelessly to make the day run smoothly despite the delayed start. Moving chairs, transporting guests, setting up the next part of the day was all done in the background with no impact at all on the event. Thank you for this.

The food, canapés and wedding breakfast were outstanding, we have have had so many comments on the quality and quantity of the food. All dietary requirements were met with ease and no dip in quality.

The final icing on the cake of a perfect day was when we returned to our room Vivood had left some printed photos of our day along with flowers, chocolates and a personalised note. This meant the world to us as we hadn't seen any photos of the day yet.

Vivood you have been an absolute dream we are already planning our next trip back. Cannot recommend this hotel and event space enough, be it for a tranquil few days away or a wedding. Book it today.

My wife and I visited back in October for our anniversary and have been meaning to write about our time with the Vivood Landscape Hotel. 100% worry-free & ordeal-free; from the first ‘hola’ to the last ‘adíos’. In our first 30 minutes we knew we made the right choice; The transition into being unreachable to the outside world; the exceptional level of care applied to the present moment. Our phones went to airplane mode and rarely came out.
To the many faces in your staff: Chema, Cristina, Sara, Ivan, Antony, Alex, just to name a few of you, if you can read this, thank you in case our paths only cross once during this life. It is approaching three months and we still speak about our experiences; from the pleasant staff, the gorgeous scenery, the constant cleanliness of the property, of our rooms, the delicious dining, and special accommodations made to celebrate our special moment.
From the bottom of both of our hearts, for making us feel like family and leaving us with pleasant memories.

Great hotel surrounded by nature. Calm and perfect for relaxation. Stylish spacious standard suite offers stunning panoramic views (even from the shower) and a cosy kingsize bed. Yummy breakfast is served a la carte with a small buffet selection. Dinner is also on a very high level, this is something you don‘t wanna miss, too

Hidden in the mountains in Guadalest this hotel offers a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Rooms are small so leave your cat at home.

Over all, amazing place to relax and stay. The hotel service was beautiful and the grounds were amazing above the reservoir. Only negative was the condition of the rooms. Starting to show age and wear. In my opinion, a little lack of maintenance brings my rating down.

Wonderful time at Vivood, it is like entering in a different, beautiful and relaxed world. Very nice location with wonderful views all around. Very friendly staff. Great food and service. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms with focus on the amazing views and a lot of privacy. We will definitely come back.

A perfect retreat for parents or couples to find peace of mind. Relaxed atmosphere with beautiful surroundings of mountains and olive farms. Spa treatment is a recommended must during your visit. The hotel also offers other activities like yoga classes. The food is also excellent. The best part, is the rooms. Every room is a little "private" cabin with all the things you need. The big windows gives a direct view of the valley right from the bed and shower. All cabins are placed so you have no direct insight from other guest. This gives you good feeling of really being in nature.

This might be one of my top recommendations for places to visit for a chill, comfortable and relaxing weekend.

WARNING: If you stay here, you won't want to leave! 😁 Heaven on earth. Everything perfect. An incredible place to disconnect and decompress. The views are breathtaking. The heated pool in the villa is amazing. The bed is enormous and floor-to-ceiling windows provide a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. The food is exquisite; the breakfast! Wow, what a way to start the day. Absolutely essential to walk down to the reservoir (or run around it if you're up to it. 10km according to my watch). Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to visit the spa but maybe next time. Finally, thank you to the staff for personalizing my stay. I checked out 3 hours ago and I already miss it. I will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing stay!

We stayed here for a few nights during our honeymoon. The combination of architecture and nature at this hotel is amazing. We loved having a floating breakfast one morning. The staff was kind and accommodating. We wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel to disconnect from life and connect with nature.
The staff is always polite and obliging.
Dinner is divine, breakfast is a bit better than your regular hotel but not the best.
The little houses are minimalistic and have a clean aesthetic, the shower has a nice glass wall/window.
The spa is rather small but since the hotel is not crowded at all, we were alone at the spa 90% of the time.
We loved the hike down to the lake, it was November 1st and we still could bath in the lake.

We've been to a wedding in Vivood and the only word to describe is STUNNING!

Amazing views, well appointed rooms albeit basic, landscape is simply stunning. Unforgettable stay. My partner and I spent a few nights by chance at this hotel. We didn't know how much of a treat we were in for. The place has been well designed, it's modern, tranquil and relaxing. The spa is made amazing by Christina, she is dedicated and just the friendliest I've ever encountered. Food is also delicious, a decent champagne choice, do dine under the stars!
A constructive criticism is that service is slow, I get the idea of the place is all about being slow paced and relaxed but that's for the guests, I don't expect for a soft drink to take over 15 mins to arrive in the heat by the pool and only two other guests were around. Overall a great experience, the place is not cheap, we did end up spending a small fortune €€€€ with meals, spa sessions and the stay itself, but it's a stay we will always remember.

Everything here is spectacular! The views are amazing, the suite nestled in the trees really makes you feel isolated. We did 2 small easy trails while we were staying here recommended by the hotel and both had beautiful views.

The spa was the real standout from the entire stay! Cris was amazing guide throughout the 5E Spa Circuit and made it feel really special for us throughout the journey.

Both Cris and MiguelAngel were the masseuses for the massage & facial for my partner and I and we left so relaxed and overjoyed by the experience.

The restaurant is also really delicious. Marc and Abel were our main waiters for dinner and they did an outstanding job! The food is a mix between traditional Spanish flavors but fantastic mixes with the sauces and vegetables. So delicious!

We also tried the morning activities and so different from our day to day! They were a great day to start the day and would recommend to everyone!

Exclusive, beautiful,very quiet(except during nighttime 😂). Rooms are beautiful with glass wall facing the view but the quality of the room itself could have been raised. The restaurant is brilliant, food, service and atmosphere top notch! Spa also very good! Stayed for 2 nights, would not mind a week🙂

This hotel is incredible. No noisy children, just peace and quiet, distractions are at a minimum. The spa is fantastic for massages and a multi step routine which really cleanses and the bar restaurant has some of the best food I've had with a large selections of tasty beverages. The pool, the views, confortable rooms and friendly staff make this a place to remember. An easy five stars.
