This place punches above its weight. Large and comfortable rooms. Very clean throughout. Breakfast is as good as any 5* hotel. The place is privately owned and the owners do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Would really recommend this hotel. One down side. It's on a bit of a hill but do not let put you off.

A truly gorgeous experience. The staff are so lovely and the rooms and amazing. I would highly recommend paying the extra for the King Suite, the room is so spacious and overlooks the castle and mountains. This small family run hotel has to be one of the best in Guadalest

A lovely small hotel in the heart of Guadalest. The owners are perfect hosts, very friendly and informative, giving recommendations for places to see and things to do during our visit. All the rooms were lovely and the breakfast spread was massive and varied enough for all palates to have a belly full. We absolutely loved the place, hotel, village, everything. And WOW, those views from the castle!

Brilliant hotel, decent price, good accomodation, owners are very helpful and friendly. Room good size and was very clean, good bed, clean bedclothes, clean shower with lots of hot water and free shampoo. Tv with an english channel and aircon in the room with plenty of storage. Nice view from our balcony. Breakfast is brilliant lots of choice with cold meats , fruit, bread, cakes, and hot food too in a quite large restaurant. Its at the top of the village hence the good view, parking outside hotel possible but will usually be ok nearby. I really liked it here, try it, I think you will to.

We stayed here for one night last week during a weeks tour around the region. El Tossal was without doubt the best of all the hotels/guest houses we stayed at. Beautiful location, superb hosts, spotlessly clean room. We stopped in room 2 that has a large balcony with an extremely comfy bed. The en-suite had a thoughtful overnight kit should you need it, consisting of toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, disposable razor and even a packet of toothbrushes! My one and only criticism if I had to chose one would be the absence of a hair dryer although I'm sure if I had asked for one, it would have been provided. We were also given a bottle of wine, bottle of water and a bottle of orange juice for our room - a simply fantastic gesture, especially given the great value on the price of our room. We didn't have a chance to eat breakfast as we had to get on early next morning but the spread looked amazing and we will most definitely be back to stop and won't miss trying it out the next time!! Sorted out quickly and efficiently. Really nice owners, good room with balcony and a great breakfast. Overall very happy and great value.

Clean and comfortable rooms, helpful and sweet mom and pop hosts, in a beautiful mountain town with included continental breakfast that can only be described as legendary.

A very quaint "b&b" style of lodging. The couple are cute and very sweet. Like your grandparents welcoming you in. They had welcoming and departing gifts for us. Breakfast was awesome. A buffet style but very high quality homemade fare. Easy parking. Very comfortable rooms. I want to come back here.

A hidden gem! The hosts were happy to accommodate a late arrival and took the time to show me on a map the sights to see in the town. There were rooms of varying sizes, but all the ones I saw were clean and fresh. (My room smelled like lavender.) The breakfast spread was incredible and everything tasted delicious. I will absolutely be planning a trip back here!

Greeted by the lovely owners , shown to our room and given free drinks and snacks !
Room was fantastic, well equipped and comfortable with beautiful views of the castle and their amazing courtyard garden .
The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up !
In the morning the breakfast was out of this world with so much variety and again served by the lovely husband and wife team . And then they kindly gave us a gift of local olive oil and honey !!
They couldn’t have been more welcoming and will definitely be back ! Would highly recommended 😊

Fabulous hosts and hospitality, spotless rooms, slept like a baby, the bed was so comfy. Complimentary drinks on arrival. Great location. Superb breakfast spread. We'll be back!

We are a family of four, we got two rooms. Room 2 has a balcony (enclosed glass) with a view of the bell tower, although the overgrown palm tree blocks some of the view. Keep in mind this is more like a bed and breakfast place. We all loved it! Yes breakfast was quite a spread! Room 1 has a direct view of the castle. Room 4 faces the quiet street. It’s a small town so it’s close to everything and everything is close to each other. We arrived Friday night at 830pm, but by then everything was closed except for a few bars. Got up early had breakfast, checked out and headed to the castle. From there we headed to the Algars waterfall for the rest of the day!

Definitely going back in Fall.

Amazing experience. Thanks very much for great service. The room was spotless clean, The owners serv massive breakfast in room due to Covid restrictions. The breakfast was delicious and massive. so many different things to try! Also they gave small bottle of freshly pressed local olive oil as a present.
Defenitelly best experience during my trip. By the way this place during Stage1 of Post COVID lock down.

Absolutely Amazing! We were astonished by the warm hospitality that we received. Everything was considered. From the refreshment on arrival, to the hotel quality rooms, and the fantastic breakfast in the morning, we will return to Guadaleste even just to stay here again!

We loved the whole experience at el tossal, the staff were very welcoming and friendly they took time to show us the sites on a map and were very patient with us as we only had a few Spanish words. The location was beautiful, over looking the mountains. The room was spotless, and very cosy . Favourite place we have stayed in the area. Also the breakfast was delicious. Would return again

A lovely little hotel, with very cosy rooms very nicely furnished, beautiful bathroom, flat screen tv( great if you can speak Spanish). Very very clean hotel,friendly and helpful staff. 2 minute walk to the town square, where there are lots of gift shops, reataurents and bars, and all prices are good, lots of the items are the same or even cheaper than in the markets. Breakfast very nice. Could not fault this hotel at all. But dont look for anything to eat or drink in Guadalest on a Mknday evening as everything closes down, and i mean everything. But i recommend the Hotel. John - Dublin Ireland.

Fantastic hotel and owners welcomed us with a fantastic check in. The hotel was prestine clean and breakfast was set out with everything you need to start your day, fruits in yoghurt, cheese & ham, eggs & bread, a great priced hotel for Guadalest and rooms very spacious for 2 people

We had a wonderful time here. We where never in such a freindly nice hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, the room super clean and cosy. The people super nice and friendly. Best mark!
