Illeta dels Banyets is a small promontory a short walk from El Campello Marina where you’ll find an interesting archaeological site dating back 5,000 years and onto Roman times. We went as part of a 4 site joint ticket bought at the MARQ in Alicante. Fantastic value for money and made for an easy access and interesting afternoon.

Lovely historical place to visit. Only cost my family of four €1 to get in,(so we donated a bit more as the staff was great and friendly and 8nformayive about other places to visit). The site itself is very informative, with information boards in a multitude of languages,(inc english).
The only thing is the site is small, and can be walked around in 30 minutes, but is well worth the visit. The adjacent beach and rocky areas on the front is lovely and my four year old loved that part. Free parking under 5 min walk away if your there early!
Worth a visit.

We went to El Campello looking for nautical activities. We found the marina and the "Torre Vigia de la Ulleta". We continued walking to the beach and we discovered an old water reservoir. I was not signaled and people we asked had no idea of it use. Then we found the "Illeta dels Banyets". It is an archaeological site that was closed. We searched online and found the information. We will be back to explore it.

Only 2er or so to go in, very cheap and well worth a short visit. Restored roman fish farm arm and some other ruins. A 30min explore or so.

Great place for some diving or also for a relax bath in an spa-like way in the ocean.

It's definitely worth a visit, alas they don't accept any form of digital payment. No card and no phone payments available.

Come here to understand our ancestors. Sara does a great tour at 12midday and at 4pm for €1,50. Otherwise just go snorkeling in the Roman fish pools (ancient steps into the sea are on the left hand side of the site)

Interesting and informative archeological site in a great setting, worth the visit and on the edge of El Campello marina and sea front, so plenty of places nearby for lunch.

Interesting archaeological site in a beautiful location, most of the site can be seen from walking around the outside but probably still worth paying for admission for the extra information and helping with the upkeep.
