Restaurante La Masía de Chencho

We visited on a Thursday evening to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect choice. Recommended in the Michelin Guide, this is a classy restaurant, and was busy - and buzzing - when we arrived for our 20:45 table. Our table for two was large and comfortable for a relaxed meal. We started with chipirones which, with added garnish of garlic and nora peppers, were the best I’ve ever had. The main course was a nicely aged steak from an aged cow with foie gras and port sauce It was cooked perfectly medium rare and presented superbly on the plate. It ate tremendously too. A rare pudding was chosen, a twin-chocolate fondant with ice cream - oozing and luxurious. A perfect indication of the quality of the restaurant and its staff was my partner’s decision to leave the choice of dry white wine to the wine waiter as the wine menu was just too big to navigate. While there were literally hundreds of more-expensive options a lesser establishment might have delivered, the 25 euro bottle he brought was perfect for the occasion. Fabulous food and drink in luxurious surroundings.

Great meal, hosted a large group with ease, our waiters were fantastic.

Stunning setting, exciting menu and amazing wine list! Don't miss it if you're in the area. Highly recommend the artichoke, avocado and caviar salad as a starter and the melt in the mouth Dakota steak as a main. Wonderful stuff!

We had a great dinner - the food was fantastic!

Beautiful big outdoor seating especially at night, old olive trees, palm-tree with decorative lighting, can imagine such setting for wedding dinner will be so gorgeous. Food is delicious and modern-Spanish like cuisine, must try the cod fish (Bacalao con cocochas al pilpil), ox tail stew (Rabo de toro), tuna tartar, bbq octopus and sautéed mushroom with half boil egg. Service in general is good. Distancing among tables are well practiced in this pandemic time.

Absolutely fabulous! Service, food and price are excellent! Definitely coming back, my new favorite place in Spain.

Cada plato de su carta es para degustarlo con tranquilidad y disfrutando de cada bocado.
La amabilidad está presente desde el primer momento, con un trato excelente durante el rato que se está allí.

Salmonete de roca
Pulpo a la llama
Alcachofa
Gallo Pedro
Solomillo de ternera.

Cualquiera de ellos la descripción es suprema. Todo prácticamente todo ESPECTACULAR.
Es un disfrute máximo venir a comer aquí.

Desde el principio hasta el final todo un placer comer en este restaurante.

Especial mención:
Jamón ibérico de bellota: insuperable
Cocochas al pil pil: de llorar
Croquetas de jamón: de mis favoritas
Tarta de queso: cremosidad y sabor de 10

Merece mucho la pena, repetiré seguro.

Fuimos a La Masía de Chencho para celebrar nuestro aniversario y nos encantó tanto la comida como el sitio en sí. El restaurante es un lugar elegante y bonito en un enclave tranquilo, rodeado de palmeras y olivos. La comida es un espectáculo, desde la quisquilla de arrastre que no podía estar más buena, hasta el pulpo a la llama o las ostras. Estaba todo exquisito. El tartar de atún rojo es uno de los mejores que he probado, al igual que la tarta de queso (es un pecado irse sin probarla). Del servicio podría decir lo mismo: aunque es cierto que al principio tardaron un poco en servirnos (hay que decir que el restaurante estaba completo), la verdad es que el personal fue muy amable y atento.
