Plaza de Las Flores

WOW what a great city Murcia is, lots to see and do, beautiful buildings and squares and very traditional streets to lose yourself in for a few hours, plenty of bars and eateries to chose from. wil definitely visit again.

A lovely plaza full of historical and period buildings. Restaurants and cafes abound. Make time and save room in order to sample as many elegant tapas as you ça. There are also many small shops full of curious and unusual items.. from clothes to jewellery to keepsakes/memorabilia. Definitely worth the time.

English translation for Plaza de las Flores is ‘Flower Square’ but I don’t see many flowers around. However, orange trees are seen everywhere. There are many tapa cafes around for alfresco dining and customers are spoilt for choice. There is also a circular fountain and the statute of Mary to take pictures with. Overall, it is a pleasant place to have a meal and people-watching. Centrally located, this is an historic plaza ringed by architecturally interesting buildings, cafes and small restaurants. This is a busy plaza, people constantly passing through, both locals and tourists, thereby presenting a constant parade of people of the world. Find a nice table, order something to drink or eat, settle in, observe things, talk with your friends or family, say hello to someone, smile and laugh... this is the place for it.

Beautiful place, especially for a coffee or quick drink, or a full meal. Probably my favourite place in Murcia.

One of a number of nice little squares dotted around the old part of Murcia's city centre. Like many of them with a church, cafes and fountain. Nice and picturesque.

A lively piazza not far from the Cathedral with a few eateries. I tried the La Tapa and both the food and the service were good.

Wonderful place for a breakfast. Great service, amazing coffee and pastry.

Huge choice of bars and restaurants.

The fountain’s gentle flow was a contrast to the loud-mouth’s constant rain of mofo verbal cascade. The Wife says it was the white wine talking. His video calls left him speaking louder than usual. Not a Spaniard, clearly.

A wonderful social place for people who enjoy food and drink al fresco. A place to see and be seen in Murcia, and within easy reach of the main shopping areas. You can enjoy a refreshing drink here or a full menu of food can be explored, with many restaurants and bars the choice in price and style is wide and varied. We always like to stop and enjoy a coffee here in between shopping trips. If you have a sweet tooth you should also visit the pastry shops north of the square.

My favorite square. Buzzing. Beautiful flowers for sale too. Great little tapas bars. Waiters really attentive and remember you and welcome you back . Extremely good prices.
