Looking for Spanish traditional meal, no need to consider twice this is the place for you. One of the best restaurants that I’ve had in Madrid. Wonderful meal with good service and Spanish vibe and the food is incredibly tasty and the price is fair. Very glad to find this tradition homemade restaurant.

Amazing food and extensive menu. Many Spanish cuisine staples prepared as entrees or “raciones/tapas so you can share. Food was so good, we ate here twice in 5 days!

Amazing food quality. They don’t speak much English and the menu is in Spanish only. But we used Google translate and managed to order. Sure , some dishes came out as a surprise but they tasted great so we are pleasantly surprised. In the photo the one on the right is “salad” and the one on the left had words “egg and ham” in its name. Hahahah. Totally not what we expected.
I’d definitely go back.

My favourite restaurant for last 15 years. Brought many friends and family there and all loved it equally. Homy and delicious food, nice staff, great location.

Great ambience, friendly hard working staff and most importantly the food was lovely. The garlic mushrooms were amazing!

Very nice place, just in the heart of the city centre, customer service was so friendly and efficient, it was our first time trying Spanish food and OMG everything was delicious, the food was more than enough, we were full but couldn’t stop because of the taste and everything for a very good price.
I completely recommend this place….

If you're on a budget or like a dive bar then this is the best we could find in Madrid. We stumbled upon it on our way somewhere else and stopped for a cheap wine and doble cana. 4.30 Euros for both plus a free broccoli pie thing that was pretty good for the cost. Different kind of ambiance but was spot on for what we wanted.

The very best gazpacho I've ever eaten! Also ate pimentos padrón and tortilla that were amazing, but the gazpacho... Perfect!!

The suckling pig and roast lamb were delicious. This restaurant serves great value for money meals.

I had the menu del dia and got the cayos with garbanzos (chickpeas with tripe) and it was super flavourful. Casual place.

The ratings are well deserved. The staff was very nice, even to the silly Americans that eat dinner before 9, and answered any questions that we had. The Sopa Castellana was very good and is one of my all time favorite dishes. The pricing was in line with the food. The bar area was packed with locals but we squeezed through and it was worth it.

Best "bravas" in Madrid (spicy potatoes) and great fried eggs with french fries. Very tasty traditional homemade food. Great genuine place where locals go. Diverse selection of food. Friendly staff.

A nice meal that's good value for your money. We split the jeuvos rotos con jamón o picadillo and the pollo al ajillo and finished with a slice of ponche segoviano. Everything was delicious but so heavy, more our fault for not being super familiar with the traditional dishes. Still, the food had wonderful flavor and was great. You won't be among many other tourists in this place. There is no English menu, but the staff is patient and willing to help you out!

Really nice restaurant with tasty Spanish food. As a Spaniard I must say the "tapas" are pretty big for its price. The menu is really traditional (tortilla, patatas bravas, morcilla...) and also has sangría, so I'm sure foreigners will love this place too. I'll certainly come back!

Amazing, home-cooked styled food. Nothing fancy but very good. Reccomend the lacon con patatas, croquetas, ponche sevillano and the sopa Castellana. Ask for the daily special menu.

If you are looking for a typical madrid tapas bar with great food and price this is the place. You won't find anything better than this around the area. We were very impressed!
