Much more than a room and a bed.
Maria and Olatz received us with open harms, kindness and excellent gastronomy! The bed's mattresses, pillows and soft sheets helped us to have a very good night of sleep!
And, when we came down to breakfast we were amazed with all the home made desserts, fresh coffee and the free range scrambled eggs, made at the moment...
Long story short, excellent and highly recommended!

We stayed here last September as a motorbiking group of 3. We were back in May and June 2023. Rooms are great , perfectly clean and very historic. The welcome we continue to receive is better that anywhere i have ever stayed. We will be back soon

We stayed here last September as a group of 3 people touring on Motorcycles. Secure parking and great location to explore the entire Basque region.
A superb family owned and run Hotel . Immaculately clean and presented to a very high standard.Amazing hosts who are exceptionally friendly and hospitable.Traditional high class Basque gastronomy.
Food was excellent both Dinner and breakfast.
A true gem .

Larrañaga is such a beautiful place at the Basque Country side. The restaurant is very beautiful and they offer great traditional Basque food. We had a very delicious food and the whole menu including water bottles costs 14€ per person. The service is super and the waitresses were super friendly.

This is not a 1 star. It’s superb. More like 3 or maybe 4 star. It’s a little isolated but for a quiet getaway, the chateau is incredible. Rooms are super spacious and superb.

This is an excellent restaurant for a reasonable price and good service. We tried their weekend set menu which had an ample choice of dishes to choose from. You have parking space within the premises and also nearby. I recommend you book a table before going as it gets full very fast.

Amazing food. I suggest the crepe with pork. Gravy is superb. Fish was top level. Forget all that cheese cake that crust! Ufffff....

Hemos ido a comer mi marido y yo. El restaurante es precioso. La comida buenísima. Cantidad correcta y los productos de calidad. Y la atención ha sido exquisita. Las camareras majisimas! Volveremos sin dudar. Muchísimas gracias por hacernos sentir súper agusto

sitio muy agradable y confortable, habitación muy amplia con estupenda terraza. Muy limpio. El personal de diez. Cenamos la noche de llegada y a pesar de ser tarde y tener el comedor casi completo nos atendieron con mucha rapidez y amabilidad. La comida perfecta y el trato inmejorable.. El desayuno con un buen bufet. Sin duda volveremos con más tiempo para disfrutar del hotel su cocina y los alrededores . Los de León

Precioso caserío rehabilitado como hotel rural.
Habitaciones coquetas donde hemos descansado de maravilla.
El restaurante enclavado entre bóvedas..sirve unos menús caseros con una muy buena relación calidad precio.
Todo exquisito pero sobre todo el trato de Olatz, su ama y resto del personal.
Totalmente recomendable.

Menuda sorpresa al bajar a desayunar hoy en este lindo hotel (es un caserón remodelado con mucho gusto, todo de piedra, precioso), vaya banquete nos estaba esperando! No he visto más elaboraciones caseras en un desayuno buffet jamás. María debe ser la mejor cocinera de la provincia por lo menos. Además todo el rato pendiente de que no faltara de nada y que nada se quedará frío. Tengo que volver para degustar lo que no me ha cabido hoy jajaja.

El hotel tiene solo una estrella pero puedo asegurar que brilla más que el sol. He estado en hoteles de 4 y 5 en los que no he estado tan a gusto como en el Larrañaga. El personal es encantador y las habitaciones muy grandes y espaciosas. Sin lujos pero con gran comodidad. La cama es super confortable. Está a dos kms de Azpeitia pero si te gusta andar tiene una ruta cómoda para ir por el día, no por la noche. Azpeitia es un sitio muy tranquilo y agradable. El restaurante del hotel es muy bueno. Lo recomiendo

Una maravilla,totalmente recomendable,tanto el hotel como el restaurante. Hemos pasado 3 días,y no hay nada malo que decir. Ambiente familiar muy agradable,el restaurante aparte de la carta ofrece un menú buenísimo tanto para almorzar como por la noche por Sólo 15 euros y con una calidad de 10. El desayuno espectacular,unas tartas caseras espectaculares. Y el personal muy amable y atento,en especial la señora que atiende el desayuno. Un encanto de persona,y un hotel especial.

Desayuno Casero , productos locales y frescos.
Habitaciones amplias,colchones super cómodos y limpieza en todo el establecimiento.
