CASA PACA Salamanca

This is busy place but not a tourist trap. The food is good and service is too. Just don’t ask for bread - they charge 2.50 p/person and it’s more like overcooked dry bread.

Ordered a cheese plate for a starter and steak, pork, and salmon as main. Enjoyed the food and the service. The portions are large, and our meals tasted excellent

Typical Tapas and cañas place. Big variety to choose from. Reasonable prices. Food is pretty good.

We enjoyed a first class dinner here recently. The Spanish cuisine they served us was skilfully cooked, beautifully presented and all tasted delicious. This restaurant also has a good wine list. The service was all very professional/friendly and the owner who was sat on a table nearby made a point of asking us if we were enjoying the food. Will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Salamanca.

Spanish fine dining at its best. You can find cheaper places but casa paca is hard to best. Spanish food as it should be done.

A delightful oasis, extolling the Spanish restaurant and tapas bar just off the main square. Folding cinema seats add to the charm in the bar, and contrast with the cosy but elegant restaurant adjoining rooms. Excellent inexpensive tapas for lunch or fine dining by night.

Great food, we ate a cold tomato cream ( Salmorejo) and Tuna fish. Excellent quality, and great wine choices. We drank an Albariño ( Terra Gaudes) that was outstanding. All served in a nice outdoor environment by very friendly staff. Not cheap, but reasonable for the quality and location.

There are two parts to this place we did not use the restaurant, only the tapas bar. What a classy tapa place! The wine list is excellent, long, fantastic. The service is most attentive by two guys. The food was very good. Highly recommend it, its very popular with the locals. Its a classy tapas bar.

If you are picky on food, this is the place to come! I regreated to come to this restaurant the last night in Salamanca... they provided fine food and soup, as well as fresh salad. We ordered two kinds of soups and fish dishes, they were all well made. The price is good and reasonable. For sure I will be back again!

Fantastic and delicious food, original, creative, well presented, impecable service. Sit at the table or standing at the bar, superb wine selection. Highly recommended

Just had tapas from the 'exquisitas list' on the table in the bar. Beautifully presented. Delicious. 6 choices for 2 almost too much to eat. Loved the ceviche, alcachofa, tomate toro, torta de quesa (although we were expecting this to be sweet!) Presa iberica also wonderful.

Classy, Spanish 100%, great food, perfect tapas. Place and beautiful restaurant. After expending 4 years in Salamanca, this is my first stop whenever I go back.

Our 2019 Spain travel was filled with adventure, great food & wine and history.

Salamanca was the last city we visited during our Spain journey.

We stayed at The Alameda Palace where the concierge recommended this restaurant and others in the center or Plaza Mayor.

We had lunch -dinner is usually after 8 PM in Spain, a bit too late for us- and we were enchanted with the restaurant, the staff and the owner who became our friend.

So we ate one day and returned the next day only to find the staff quite busy, not allowing patrons through the front door. We realized the President of Ecuador had selected the restaurant for his lunch and that of his family and secret service.

Imagine the honor, we had lunch with the President of Ecuador.

The food is served with great attention to detail, selecting the most amazing cuts of meat, called salomillo, and unique salads.

We enjoyed this restaurant and hope to return one day.

It became the golden broach to close our culinary journey through Spain!!!

Meal for two with wine and tip 100 euro. Good food. Starter....two meals and one dessert.....and bottle house red
....good service......tapas bar behind me doing well...better value than the restaurants clustering the main drag...nape of hake and other meal of goat recommended.....

Lovely experience: friendly, helpful staff; interesting interiors; full menu of Spanish foods, well-prepared and presented. House wine of the week was superb.
