Un lugar magico. Su mirador que es la rosa de los vientos es espectacular. Y sus fiestas de Santisima Trinitat una gozada.

I live here, what can I say? It is very peaceful most of the time and beautiful all of the time. It is the very oldest part of Altea, much older than the so called Old Town. But strangely it is hardly known to exist even by the Alteans. It is sort of hidden behind the high street and only sees tourists because the tourist route passes through to see the (recreated) old watch tower. The only downside is that the kids of the town know of its existence and tend to hang out here late into the night. No problems there but please keep it quiet! Oh and please clear up after your dogs!!!

También conocida como Plaza de la Canterería. Fue remodelada en el año 1990 junto con la Torre de Bellaguarda de la que tomó el nombre que aparece en los planos de la localidad. De planta cuadrangular tiene una única entrada por la calle Canterería y en el lado opuesto, un mirador hacia la sierra. La torre situada a la derecha cierra el tranquilo conjunto. Entrada gratuita. Abierta 24 h. Hay que llegar a pie y tiene acceso para minusválidos.
