Chiringuito Olivar Bar

Have taken friends and family to this charming, well serviced and great food Chiringuito 3 times in the last 10 days.
We've not been disappointed on any occasion.

Good food with an amazing view over the beach. Dog friendly. Fresh fish cooked over a wood fire. Well worth a visit and then a dip in the sea.

Great food, great Service. Very friendly stuff, we had a Ceasar's Salad and Calamari fritos and Fried Baby squid. Everything was very good and prices reasonable. Highly recommended!

The grilled sardinas are a must. We also had the grilled prawns. Great casual place on the beach. They also serve some summery cocktails like Mojito etc. Was well worth the visit you will not be disappointed.

Perfect Place to spend a real good Time relaxing, eating delicious Fish and getting to know the lovely local people. We've had so much fun :-)

This is the nearest to a beach bar we have found in a long long time. You feel like you are on the beach (I know, hear me out), instead of in some wannabe restaurant. Wood decking, cane and rope half-walls - It just felt good. It felt like a beach bar should .... and the service was good, and whilst it was typical, traditional beach food, it was all really really good.
We were too hungry to hang around and take photos, but will definitely return, and then share some.

The best chiringuito on the coast in our area. Fresh, well cooked dishes, sardines are my favourite, friendly service, nice atmosphere and views.

Fantastic chiringuito, Enrique and Tatiana are always fantastic hosts and their food is amazing. May I recommend the oxtail croquettes!

Really good food at reasonable prices. Owner was very friendly without being too in your face. Not a huge menu but everything we had was spot on .
Best was the old dude who did the wood BBQ, he was what some people call a character and others call an alcoholic. Great guy though.

We had a super nice evening here! The atmosphere is brilliant, the fish from the bbq delicious and the staff is the really friendly and notices everything, they deserve a big compliment! Mucias gracias!

Deserves all the stars because of the people who run the place. They are very nice and respectful. You can simply go and lay on one of their sunbed on the beach and enjoy the sea and the beach without being pestered. That is what one expects from a chiringuito. The sea is amazing, by the way, both for swimming and snorkelling.
Nonetheless, I have friendly suggestions. Make sure the sardines are cooked and not bloody. An extra: try grilling them after wrapping in vine leaves. Ask customers how they would like to eat their fish. It doesn't feel well when one impatiently waits for the 1 kg seabass only to see 100 g. of filet that is left of it. I don't care how Nance and Rand likes to eat their fish: "not so fishy." Not only that that 100 g fish is not worth 18€, but also I want to eat the skin and the cheek and the tail as well. If I am committing the sin of eating living things, let me do it properly.
