Camping Playa de Mazarrón

Fantastic site. A bit crammed in but pitches are quite big. Good for kids and the shades over the pitches is good.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Everything you need on a site.
The only down side is nowhere for the dog to good to the toilet. She won't go on the path so had to go to the dog beach.

This is a great campsite we are using with our campervan. 2 dogs. Good size pitches. Great washing facilities, clean and tidy and right on the beach. Dog beach 300 yds away. Definitely recommend

Lovely site right on the beach. Toilets and showers immaculate. Staff are very helpful.

Facilities for emptying black and grey water, plus electricity and water on each individual plot.

There is a swimming pool, bar and restaurant on site. Shop only open in high season.

There are a couple of supermarkets close by, along with bars and restaurants.

You can walk or cycle along the promenade to Puerto Mazarron.

Would definitely recommend.

We're staying in our motorhome at this site. It's one of the best sites we've been to. Large pitches, excellent wash facilities and right next to a great beach. Plenty of places to walk to from site. Very clean. There's a restaurant on site, though we've not been to it. Also a shop with a good range of food and goods.
Unfortunately, the only trouble is the huge amount of dogs that are also on the campsite! A lot of barking, is not conducive to a peaceful site!

Great area for motorhomes, access right onto beach. Lovely walks in both directions. Bars and restaurants nearby. Clean modern facilities. Love it here

The campsite itself is excellent. Very well kept, the showers and toilets are spotless although one small point was the toilets near reception don't have soap near the basins albeit the other toilets around the site did....
The shrubs and trees and topary around the site are gorgeous. This is definitely the best site we've been on in france and Spain. The site also put on free sardine and sangria parties for everyone on the site who wanted to attend..... When we first arrived and first looked around mazarron itself and the local area directly outside the site we weren't initially overly impressed and the beach looked like it needed some tlc. However the area definitely grew on us as a 5 night stay ended up being a 14 night stay. A lovely cafe down the road and we managed to find a family run pasta/pizzaria called pepones just outside the site which was very nice and they were very friendly.... There is also a spar convenience store less than 5 minutes walk from the site. Definitely will go back there again.

This is our 3rd time at this campsite. The pitches are of a good size with a loose stone floor. All of the access roads on site are block paved & kept very clean. Plenty of clean toilet & shower facilities. ACSI card is accepted. Very quiet site with the port town of Puerto de Marizzon only a short cycle ride away.

Huge pitch sizes, fantastic location, as in right on the beach at the back of camp, and the main road in and out of town, at the front. Very good price, the facilities were lovely and clean. Restaurant and bar wasn't open but the pool bar was, time of year I would assume. Will definitely be back. Also some great bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the front gate.

Very big and nice camping. Shadow over each place. Large, long, sandy beach outside the campsite. Pool with poolbar.
Many restaurants outside the camping and a Spar grocery store.
I have been camping for almost 45 years and this is one of the best I have ever been to.
Sanitary is big and clean.

Stayed here for a week while had business to attend to locally. Staff where incredibly friendly despite language barrier. There was a couple of English speaking staff who really made a huge difference to my stay. Excellent facilities. Everywhere was kept clean and tidy. A big thank you to all. 👍Totally recommended whether travelling by yourself or family, you can't go wrong here.

The prime reason for staying here is that it's right next to the beach...with great sunrises. It has its own swimming pool which is great for cooling down. The site itself is clean well laid out. It's located in bolnuevo which is a relatively quiet village with a enough bars, restaurants and food shops to keep you going. Plenty of easy walking and cycling but do beware of the heat in summer..it does get very hot

We stayed for 3 nights, not the best pitch but as we hadn't booked we didn't mind. Great location with access straight onto the beach, bars & restaurants only minutes away. Would return

We were in a motohome. The plots are a very good size and the site is next to the beach. Clean with beautiful gardens, a lovely campsite

Well kept beautiful campsite! We were visiting friends but would definitely stay there if we had a caravan or motorhome!
Toilets and showers were very clean!

This site is very well placed, right on the beach and easy access to a dog-friendly beach. The site is big but there are plenty of facilities. The pitches vary in size. We were on a standard pitch with plenty of room outside for table and chairs and an awning. It's s busy site. We were there early January and it was pretty full. The restaurant and bar we're closed but there were a few places close by to eat out. The Spar is a slow five minute walk with a good food selection and fresh bread daily. Would happily stay there again.

Very large and busy site with many pitched occupied for months at a time. Not much grass as the site is mainly gravel pitched a block paved paths and access roads. The are some trees and low hedge rows between pitches. Main plus point is access to the beach.

There's a dog friendly beach a few hundred meters to the left from the campsite.

This is a brilliant campsite. The washrooms are exceptional and the whole area is extremely well kept. The staff in reception are very helpful and always seem happy to help. There is also a fig friendly beach.

2nd time here. Apart from the weather we love bolneuvo camping site. Facilities are excellent and right by the beach and sea, high in this weather is between a surfers paradise and a childrens paddling pool. There are cats on site, wild I believe, not great but apart from that a great place to stay

Pros:
- the best camping park we've been to in the south of Spain. Very quiet (it's forbidden to make noise so loud that disrupts other campers 🙌🙏👍🥳)
- it's easy to get a pitch with a sea view
- lots of shadow
- pitches have water, drainage, electricity and a garbage can nearby
- pool
- playground with nice things for toddlers
- very friendly and helpful staff
- camping Minimarket has basic stuff but enough not to have to leave the camping park
- the pitches are very well delimited with bushes

Cons:
- tiny mosquitos that are very hard to find to kill
- the beach only has sand until the seashore. Then it's big pebbles that are very hard to walk on
- the sea entrance is very steep, hard to enter and leave, specially for small children (and the bottom is big hard pebbles also)
- everything is a bit far away from each other (pool, beach, playground)
- there's no wifi
- even though there are 2 beach entrances, one of them was always closed during our stay (and we went during high season)
- everytime you need to use the baby bathroom you need to get a key from the reception (same applies to the handicapped bathroom by the way)
